“This quiet, clean, and nicely located B&B was a great stay. I spent 3 nights here, while in South Milwuakee for work and would recommend it for anyone trying to decide where to stay. The outdoor patio space was a nice place to have an evening glass of wine and my morning coffee. My room was great, with crisp bed linens, a jacuzzi tub and huge walk in shower. Bonus....coffee/beverage station right across from my door, which I greatly enjoyed! Most importantly, the breakfasts were AMAZING, delicious, generous portions and did I mention, amazing?! I looked forward to each morning and I was so happy for the 8 am knock on my door letting me know breakfast was served! Give this place a try!”

“We had an amazing experience Bucyrus Club! We had our wedding rehearsal dinner and reception there and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Having the food, bar, and hall all in a customizable package made planning so much easier and completely stress-free.

“We had our wedding reception here on October 18, 2025! The Polish Center is a beautiful venue inside and out. Our guests loved the patio for cocktail hour! Jennifer, the banquet manager was so helpful and communicative. I am so happy we had our big event here! I highly recommend to anyone that is looking to host an event here!”

“The Pabst is a beautiful theater. The seating is tight. As of 3/26, they offer pre- paid parking in the parking structure adjacent to the Milwaukee Athletic Club. I would suggest that people park somewhere else. We found it a little difficult to get the door to open to enter, then impossible to re-enter after the show, despite punching in the numeric code provided on the Pabst website. Many patrons were in the same position. We had to run in when other cars drove out. It would also be easy to miss the fact that you are going to need a code to get back into the structure. It is mentioned on the Pabst website, but not when you purchase the pass nor on the pass.”

“We got married at The Cooperage in late May 2025 and worked closely with Maddie to plan the day. While communication was a tad rocky at the start, that quickly flipped and Maddie was AMAZING!! When you think girl boss, Maddie should be the first person that comes to mind. Leading up to the wedding day, Maddie made sure all our questions were answered, took the time to explain details to us and our options, and really just made the whole experience of planning a wedding from daunting to enjoyable. When it came to the day of the wedding, Maddie was on-site ready to go with her team as soon as the venue opened and it looked STUNNING inside. Her and my day of coordinator worked together and truly made me have the best day of my life. I couldn't be more grateful for everything Maddie and her team did. The bartenders at the Cooperage were amazing and there is no other word to describe it. I had multiple guests come up to me saying how awesome the bartenders were and their drinks were absolutely delicious. There was a point about an hour before walking down the aisle where we were taking pictures and one of the bartenders comes up to me with my signature cocktail for me - INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!! And don't even get me started on the food. Holy crap. The food at our wedding was THE most complimented part of the wedding. The appetizers we choose were better than when we came in and tasted. So many compliments here and that people didn't have room for the actual meal because of how good the apps were. And the actual food, we ended up going with the BBQ and that was the best decision we could have possibly made. Again, so many compliments on the quality of the meat, how creamy the mac and cheese was, and everything in between. I want to have another event at the Coop just so I can eat all the food again! The last thing I will mention is that Maddie helped us get in contact with the Airbnb owner. The Airbnb is located right above the Cooperage, so we had a beautiful space for my bridesmaids and me to get ready the morning of that was incredibly convenient. Overall, if you are a laid back Bride and Groom who are looking for a great space and team to work with, look no further than the Cooperage!”

“The place to go for your must see events! The Staff are professional keeping a clean and secure environment. Bartenders make the best drinks. Caught Mama Tried Flat Out Friday and TSO there and look forward to many other events.”

“Always welcoming and helpful when making a selection. Wine tasting events are super cool and fun. I bring all of my out of town friends for a glass/bottle of wine to enjoy in the store. No corkage fee! Funky decor and good music. Parking is never an issue.”

I had no idea this was a Shriner lodge… or that Shriners are high order Free Masons… so I pretty much accidentally broke into a meeting of a high level secret society for a photo op - at least the sheriff thought my cluelessness was funny.”

“Nice walking area, quick and easy with a fishing dock. When you get to the lighthouse, you can turn around and go back the same way and circle in the peninsula. We went towards the parking lot thinking there would be some pathway but there isn’t really. Would be nicer to walk back into the water area where there is nature”

“I was there for the Black Excellence Awards ceremony. The center is very spacious, the servers were polite and attentive, and the bathroom was very clean. The food was just okay. We had chicken with mixed vegetables and potatoes. The dessert was pound cake, and it was set on the table with the salad. By the time we finished dinner and was ready to eat dessert, the pound cake was starting to get hard. It was less than desirable. During the reception, there was plenty of coffee, but the creamer containers were empty fairly quickly. Needless to say, I didn't get coffee. They had 2 bars in the reception area, so if you didn't get a drink before you head into the dining area, water was at the table. Lastly, there was plenty of parking.”

“I visited the studio for a concert of new music. The sweeping views from the windows was wonderful. The entire building is filled with art studios and galleries. A true asset for Mikwaukee.”

“We had our wedding reception here last month and it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. The location is close to downtown and has the perk of free parking for guests (a rare find for downtown wedding venues). John, the owner, was great to work with. He really cared about making sure our reception was everything we hoped for. Our guest count was near the max capacity and it held everyone comfortably. We had to purchase our alcohol for the wedding and he told us exactly how much and what kind to get which made the process incredibly easy.

In the weeks following the wedding, we received so many compliments on the venue itself. We are so glad we chose to have our reception here and would highly recommend it!”

“An awesome center for learning how to sail! Small class sizes, hands on and practical learning. They provide everything you need, including boats. From racing to pleasure sailing. Wonderfully priced and a great time. Looking to get into sailing, definitely recommend looking here!”

“My husband and I got married on 9/20/25 at Birch and this was the perfect venue for us and our guests! The first time we walked into the venue I knew it was the one. We were looking for a more intimate space, and I loved all of the backlighting accompanied by the darker space. It felt cozy and was a great space for 82 people. I also loved the outdoor space and all of the greenery and flowers provided by the space was a big win for us as I did not want to buy any flowers. It is a simple space but looks great just on its own!

In the beginning of the planning process, we did get multiple different coordinators which was slightly concerning, but a little less than a year out we met Jaiden. Jaiden turned out to be the best thing for our wedding! It was clear right from the start how knowledgeable she was, and she did a great job communicating with all of our vendors. She also let us visit the venue whenever we wanted to which worked out once we started to practice setting up our decor to see how it would look in the space. On the day of our wedding, we unfortunately had rain that interfered with our plans to have an outdoor ceremony. Jaiden worked tirelessly to try and get us an outdoor ceremony, and we even postponed the ceremony by half an hour. During that time, she monitored the weather and opened the bar, so that guests wouldn't get too antsy while waiting. Last minute we had the ceremony inside, but immediately after we headed outside for pictures and the weather was clear the rest of the night!

The venue provides a His and Hers suites upstairs for getting ready and our wedding party loved this space! It gave us time before the wedding to hangout and relax before getting ready. I had two bridesmaids, so the space was more than enough for the three of us. However, the main getting-ready room for the girls was very dark, so I would suggest bringing more light sources or get ready in the front room space where there is plenty of natural light. I also found out at the end of the wedding night that many people did not understand how the bar worked as we had gone with a consumption tab, so people had been opening their own tabs. I did include this on our website (but we all know 90% of people do not refer to that), but I had also assumed that the bar staff would communicate to the guests how the consumption tab worked. Despite this, the bar staff were excellent, and they had such great attitudes, and we felt like they were part of the fun!

Overall, Birch was an amazing venue and if I had to do it over again, I would pick Birch and Jaiden haha! Although I could do without the rain again. A big thank you to all the staff and everyone at Birch who helped us from start to finish.”

“My favorite place to play hockey. The locker rooms are large and well-maintained. Probably the cleanest and least smelly in the area. The ice is well tended to, without any bumpy areas around the boards or where the Zamboni goes in and out.”

“I've come to this kid's gym with my son for years now and he always has a blast! So many things to do and so many kids of varying mental and physical abilities for him to meet and play with. Very friendly staff that are always open to answer a question, help with an issue or play with the kiddos! The location owner is also very kind and friendly! I highly recommend your next playdate or party here!”

“Great service from the front desk, restaurant and cleaning. The Westin continues to live up to their standards for a great sleep experience. My only feedback is that parts of the hotel seemed dated. I’ve noticed in general lately that Marriott does not seem to be investing as much into their existing properties.”
