“I've had nothing but a great experience here!
Having recently retired, my 401k didnt allow small distributions from the account - it was all or nothing. I was so worried just moving it out of my 401k - let alone chopping it up and moving it around again! As it sat in a 401k for years, i just didn't feel real. But now that I needed to move it so I could get some access, there are just so many things that can go wrong: from lost mail, electronic transfers getting messed up, etc., to flatout getting ripped off! Jacob Becker made it very painless and simple.
I know they deal with much bigger accounts than mine so I imagine it can be easy to lose sight of how big of a deal it is to a customer of any size. I never got that feeling from Jacob and as a bonus, there was zero pressure to buy something!
Prior to working with Scwab, i was talking to a non CFP at a bank, i was immediately steered to an insurance annuity product that had some guarantees but it wouldn't be insured, had costs to deal with and there was some downside risk. It didn't feel like any sort of scam, it just wasn't clear if this was best for me or the bank!

She was wonderful and answered my questions and double checked the information that she gave me to ensure that it was completely correct. I then came in to open both a checking and a savings account and Lisa help me. She took her time with me to make sure I had the proper accounts that I needed and set up my log in for me. Lisa also told me to reach out to her personally if I had any issues with the app or my account.”
