“I’m one of the “founding” members who signed up in the trailer before the building was completed. I love the facility and the staff, but I really wish you would slow down on taking new members. Most of the time when I go there, it is extremely busy to the point that it is not enjoyable. I understand the need to add new members in order to be more profitable, but you really need to weigh that against the comfort and enjoyment of existing members.”

“I manage a business and don't have time for the health club routine. OT is less one mile from my house/business. I gear up at home, work out and shower up at home. Solid 60 min. of exercise with motivation from a trainer and community. Only Day 3 and feeling sore...a good sore. Validating my home routine was not pushing me. Staff is awesome; welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and personable. They ALL call me by my name; some of which I had not even met yet. Highly recommend. “Matt does an excellent job keeping me motivated. I belong to another club where I could workout and I never do because Matt is not there to get me going. It's also a great place because you can workout in groups and that also keeps you accountable. Don't know what I would do without Matt!!”

“Pure Fitness is an incredible personal training gym. If you want dedicated personal trainers who care about your progress and tailor a program to your needs, you’ve found it. Their trainers can get you to your goals because they have so much varying experience, from power lifting, to elite high school and college sports, to Ironman finishers, to golf pros…. They’re all experienced athletes who will push you to excel. The new facility has great equipment and is clean and fresh. 10/10 recommend.”

“I've been a part of the CrossFit Good Land family for over 5 years now. This community is more than supportive! We will be your biggest cheerleaders and help you achieve your goals. Coach Sarah is the best! She, along with the other coaches and staff at Good Land are incredibly knowledgeable and caring. They won't throw you into a class or workout without making sure you know what to expect or how to do that movement. Every workout is scaleable, and meets you wherever you're at in your fitness journey. If you're nervous to try it out - remember that everyone at the gym has had a "first day" in class, we've all been there. CrossFit reminds me on a daily basis that I can get through hard things. “I visited South Beach on a daytrip to Port Washington on a weekday in October. The weather was great for a nice walk on the beach; the winds were not kicking up the water too high. I enjoyed a leisurely walk looking at the waves on Lake Michigan, the rocks and driftwood on the beach, and the bluffs. The parking lot for the beach is small, and it should be expected that it would be full on weekend day. But, one could park in the nearby Coal Dock Park and take a short walk to South Beach. It is a great spot for a picnic.”

“I'm not too familiar with the club, but the coaches are super nice and experienced and they seem to have a large turnout of kids of all different abilities. They run a beginners tournament every January which is the perfect starting point for any youngster without or without any experience. It's a perfect confidence booster, and they match the kids up by ability and experience.”

“The staff at the Port Washington Anytime Fitness facility are high quality individuals. Carter, Chase, Sam, and Brandon all go above and beyond to create a great experience for the members of this gym.To be honest, if you are just looking for a quiet local gym that has standard equipment so you can come in, do your workouts, and leave without being bothered--this is your kind of gym.However, by not interacting with the staff, you're missing out on the main reason why this is a 5 star gym. The staff will encourage, challenge, and hold you accountable to reach your goals if you give them an opportunity. I've been so impressed by their dedication to the members of this gym. I plan on this being my home gym as long as the Port Washington management keeps bringing in high quality staff like they currently do.”

After 50 sessions over a year, he was consistently committed, attuned to my abilities and limits, introduced tons of variety that matched my needs, never pushy, personable, thoughtful.
