Update 2026 -
Last year we had a sweet little Amish barn kitten that had an injured eye, he was about 3 to 4 months old. He came to our back deck and never left. Dr. Coorough did a great and fast job helping us out and getting this little guy out of pain. He ended up having to have the eye removed and the doctor and his Techs were all so very understanding and wonderful with Cap! He's the best cat we've ever had. Thanks Dr. Coorough and all his Techs! Photos from surgery to one year later. ❤

Vet Rd, HillsboroMy granddaughter has two cats and both of theem weren't doing good. She drove all the way from Plymouth to get her cats checked out. Why did she drive so far you maybe thinking? she's heard nothing but good thing about Animal acres. Everything she heard was true. The care both cats got care was beyond excellent. The prices were very affordable the lady showed empathy and very caring which made my granddaughter at ease. We would highly recommend this place to everyone

815 Water Ave, HillsboroI loved the vibe here. It is a very cozy atmosphere and very eclectic. We checked it out because there was going to be music that morning. It was a great experience. The drinks were very good. Unfortunately, we did not eat there, but I'm going to go back to try their food.

206 E Madison St, HillsboroThe food was good, but the service was not so good for our party of 6 +. I spent most of my time trying to corral small children in the 2 hour window we spent here — only because waiting was the longest part. Not enough wait staff? The ones that were on shift worked really well together helping one another as much as possible. Anyways, the food was great, the beer was delicious (especially the stout), but larger party accommodations need some fine tuning.
