I found a young wild bird in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. It was in danger from cars and other animals, so I picked it up to keep it safe. Unfortunately, I can’t keep it any longer because we are traveling, and taking it with us would move it far away from its home area and its natural habitat.
I’m looking for advice or assistance to make sure it is properly cared for and, if possible, returned to the wild safely.

15560 WI-131, TomahKnown CDAS when they built their shelter about 15 yrs ago. We never had a place for homeless. The people who started this and run this shelter ,and the volunteers are the most wonderful people in the world. I can’t say enough, as they bend over backwards to find the best homes and if they are injured they do everything in their power and the great vets, to fix the animal . . Got to be the BEST shelter in the world . Love everyone involved.
