“Had an absolutely wonderful experience while visiting this shop. I had no idea it even existed until very recently. I had been stuck ordering hair online because the closest beauty supply store is a 2 hour drive.
I spoke with the owner about the issues I was facing, what I wanted to get done- etc. She was very kind and knowledgeable. I found braiding hair I was looking for and was even allowed to try on some wigs and ask all the questions I've been dying to ask. I ended up staying for like 3 hours just talking and learning and she didn't bat an eye at all the questions.
Truly will be my go to from now on, such nice service, products and experience. Major bonus points that I get to support a small black owned business instead of feeding corporate greed. I definitely will be back!”

“Fantastic shop downtown La Crosse. We went in looking for Darn Tough socks and came out with so much more. They have backpacks, bags, sunglasses, hats galore, and so many clothing options. I found so many cute dresses and shorts for the season. The gal that helped us was fabulous. Brands like, Kavu, Topo, Darn Tough and so much more. “I love platos closet. I sell to them often. Of course it depends on what they need at the time, what their budjet is and who is buying but I always walk away with $10-$80. I also always shop when they have clearance and I walk away with GREAT deals. Last time during their clearance I got $160 worth of clothes for $16. That is a price you can't beat.”
