Hillside Animal Hospital
W5706 State Hwy 33 Trunk, La CrosseWe recently had to say goodbye to our cat Fiona, and Hillside Animal Clinic was absolutely amazing. They were compassionate, patient, and incredibly respectful during such a hard time.
Picking up her cremated remains tonight reminded me how thoughtfully everything was handled. We are SO grateful for their kindness and the care they gave our sweet girl. Thank you for making such a hard moment just a little softer.
Highly recommend. ♡

7 Brew Coffee
3976 Mormon Coulee Rd, La CrosseThis is a convenient coffee drive-thru. The staff are fun to interact with and the menu has lots of interesting options. I agree with the review that said they really load up iced drinks with a ton of ice. Not an issue for blended and hot drinks, of course, and you can always ask them to go light on the ice for any iced drinks.

Pearl Street Brewery
1401 St Andrew St, La CrosseWent to Pearl Street Brewery for the first time in years with some friends. We arrived early and had the place to ourselves for a bit, but by the time we left it was packed. I ordered their V/O Hazy, and even though I’m not usually a big fan of hazies, this one might have converted me.

608 Brewing Company
83 Copeland Ave, La Crosse608 is a frequent stop for us whenever we’re in the area, and this weekend was no different. Pictured is the Crimson Veil Raspberry & Chocolate Sour, which was absolutely fantastic, but the real standout was the Strawberry Kiwi Seltzer. Without exaggeration, it might be the best seltzer I’ve ever had. I left with a 4‑pack and probably should’ve grabbed more. It’s that good.

La Crosse Distilling Co.
129 Vine St, La CrosseGreat food tacos, Reuben, and BLT . Short wait for food great waitress very knowledgeable on everything we asked. We’ve been going there on and off frequently and hats off to everyone. The only problem you have is not enough space thats it. Once summer comes to open up the sidewalk will help tremendously. We’ll be back all the time!! If you’re reading this Keep in mind they will have issues as any business does. Come back and let them redeem themselves. They will. Enjoy!!

The Restaurant at The Charmant Hotel
101 State St, La CrosseSo we went to dinner here 2 nights ago and breakfast this morning. I will start with the ingredients were all great. You can tell good ingredients. Friday dinner was steak frites and the steak was a little tough, Brussels sprouts overly sweet. Salad was decent- we gave that a 3.5. Breakfast was better. My husband rated the granola bowl a 5. I had the scramble and honestly it seemed under cooked and under seasoned. So were the fingerling potatoes. Bacon great. Just a few misses on all fronts like salt and how things were cooked but I do think a 4 overall..
