“I stopped by unexpectedly having found myself with extra time. As soon as I walked in I was pleasantly surprised. This store is bright and clean. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I had a lot of fun browsing through the wide variety of dealer booths. I managed to come home with a couple of toys from my childhood era. I will definitely return- probably today too pick up a bowl which has been on my mind. What a gem!”

“My wife bought me a great sundial from these folks and 4 months later it's all rusted. For the price I think it was a waste of money. The president of the company suggested repainting it👎”

“Very friendly and knowledgeable about clocks. Took my Cuckoo clock to several places and all said it would be expensive and it might not work. Kappel's quoted me a fair price and it's running perfect. My new clock repair guy.”

“Incredible collection of antique books and items. Seemingly all of the books are 50% off at the moment, so we were able to get some fantastic deals. Owner seems to be very knowledgeable. You can find books here from many different languages, cultures, and of a variety of topics. I will absolutely be returning.”

“We had a good experience at Touch of Pride and found a piece of furniture to bring home. Yes, it was cool in there, but they did have the furnace running. They also had dehumidifiers running to help the atmosphere. Stop by and enjoy browsing.”

“My recent experience with this store was a very good one. What made this experience so memorable was the interaction I had with Ms. Ellen. Ms. Ellen has a very calm personality which is an excellent skill given the chaos you’ll experience with the management team.In my experience, I felt like I was chasing after answers but no one knows what’s going on. Ms. Ellen on the other hand, looked at the situation, and calmly took control. Many thanks to her and other employees like this.”

“Reading many reviews before arriving to this shop, I expected a horrible experience with a rude owner and big, scary dogs; however, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Janet and her dog Lily. Did Lily bark at me? Yes. Was she just excited to meet someone new? Also yes. People have put out reviews for this shop stating that this dog was horrible, but Lily was very kind and leaves you alone after she sniffs you for a moment. Janet is very knowledgable about every item in the shop, as proven by the sticky notes on each item. Dates and important information are labeled on the sticky note, along with pricing. Why is each cabinet $500+? You're buying actual quality furniture that is dated 100 years old or more. You could get a large cabinet somewhere else with large scratches and gouges, or you could go to Janet's and get it for $600 but in great condition. Janet was also very quick to tell me information about anything I had questions on. You're paying for quality and her knowledge. We all need to remember that quality antiques don't just sell for Facebook Marketplace pricing. This is quality stuff.Thank you for the wonderful experience, Janet and Lily!”

“I've found some great stuff here. The vendors have fair prices and really detailed labels so you know if things don't work, are incomplete, etc. Everything from war memorabilia to toys to furniture. Would be five stars but some staff members are so rude with the smallest of questions, even calling to ask for hours or when you ask for help with unlocking cabinets. It's made for an unpleasant experience on multiple visits. It makes me not want to ask to see items that are locked, which is a shame.”

“Great place to find just about anything you may be looking for. And if not they can usually point you in the right direction. Have brought from them 3 or 4 times, will definitely do business with again in the future...”

“I easily found a good quality dresser for a great price that just needed a sand and paint. Customer service was great! The guy working helped me figure out if it would fit in my SUV and then helped me load it. I was lent a dolly and some moving blankets too.”
