“My boyfriend and I have been looking for couches for quite some time and the experience we had at Rubins was great from beginning to end. We didn’t imagine we’d necessarily be purchasing from them when we walked in, just wanted to browse, and JJ walked up to us to greet us and started conversation with us. We ended up setting up a time with him to have him visit the house and help us in our process. After all, we had visited at least 5 different furniture stores, been looking online, and weren’t finding ANYTHING we liked. Off the bat, what JJ recommended was not a layout or color either of us would have been creative enough to come up with, and we are both so happy we went through with this process and could not be more pleased with the results. I could go on and on, but we were just very impressed by how much consideration was put into making this something that took us and our lifestyle and likes/dislikes in mind. We were very easily able to justify going a little over budget for the great quality of service and products that were provided and I would recommend anyone to at least check out Rubins.”

“We started our furniture shopping day at a few of the “usual” big box stores and by the time we walked into At Home in Madison, we were already exhausted from being hunted down by salespeople like it was the opening scene of The Hunger Games.
Then we met Brian. Total opposite experience. Brian was awesome. Super accommodating, funny, helpful, and just genuinely easy to work with. Shout out to Daniel who was great too. Both of them somehow made furniture shopping actually enjoyable, which honestly feels impossible. From helping us find a cart (rookie mistake) to arranging a tricky delivery to even pointing out a matching piece that was on sale which we hadn’t noticed originally.
No pressure. No awkward hovering. Just really good people helping customers the way it should be done. We’ll absolutely be back.”

“Really good people and really great stuff. The store itself holds mostly the smaller items and is beautifully curated. Larger furniture is at the warehouse, but you can follow on Instagram or talk to the owner/employees about events or pieces you are interested in. That's how we got our working Grundig! Quality and uniqueness is prioritized, and everyone here is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the art, storytelling, and craftsmanship of decor.”

“This store has been on state street for a long time for good reason. It is a unique little store with handmade and imported crafts, instruments, and other items from other cultures. I did not expect to find fine jewelry, which staff were gracious in working with me to purchase. Overall good vibes.
One change I would be interested in however is to see some mosaic lamps (which there seemed to be an abundance of) replaced by other unique and interesting handcrafted items the store does not yet have yet fits its theme.”

“ROSS is my favorite store, & here's why. My feet are size 15 and it's difficult for me to find shoes in my size. I found a pair of size 15 Jordans for $65. That is an incredible deal. You never know what you'll find here. I've found awesome snapbacks, household trinkets, and other gems. Staff was also friendly.”
“We shopped at the Sleep Number store in Madison yesterday to purchase our new bed. George helped us and he was phenomenal! He was very professional and personable. He was not pushy (like sometimes salesmen can get). He really wanted to understand our needs and what we were wanting to change about our current bed situation. We got everything we needed and were in and out in about 30 minutes. I cannot recommend Sleep Number enough and will send anyone his way when they are ready to upgrade their sleeping experience!”

“Visited this urban outfitters recently and have visited quite a few urban outfitters. All of the staff were really friendly and the store was very clean but I do have one issue. I feel like the men’s section was VERY limited compared to other urban outfitters and I feel like this has been a trend with urban outfitters over the past few years. I would love to see more options for men in the future like it felt like there used to be.”
