“Fast service even on a busy day. It helped that I knew what I wanted and only tried on 2 pair. The tread mill was a nice touch to test out the shoes. Didn't give 5 because I didn't test their knowledge to know if their knowledgeable or not. Will most likely return”

He wasn’t pushy for sales and instead offered helpful suggestions on brands and style . If something wasn’t in my size, Christian offered to ship from another store. “We had never been here before though we had seen the ads everyday in the newspaper. We were running errands at Hilldale and stopped in since I was having a hard time finding a comfortable casual shoe. It was a weekday but there was a steady stream of customers. After browsing some of the displays and choking on some of the prices. $450 for some ugly casual German shoes!!! I was skeptical. I decided to dive in and get some help. It turns out it was one of the co-owners who helped us. It was if I was being consulted by a podiatrist. I later learned that a few of the employees are certified pedorthists. I have never encountered such a process at a shoe store. I learned a lot about my feet. I did find a pair of shoes that fit my feet and my needs and my price point. I am not sure every employee would give this level of service or have this expertise but I will return. Oh yeah - the prices keep this from being a 5 star review.”

Always a superb in-store music selection and a great vibe. Been coming to the store for years and I always stop by when I’m in town. Since I come every few months, they always have a new selection of clothes and they never miss ??”

“I just stopped into this location and received the best customer service ever. Ahlisha helped me find the correct size in both unisex and mens vans ( if you know vans sizing, you know how tricky sizes run) and explained the differences in new school / old and pro/skate vs classics. She got several versions and sizes out for me and helped fit me to a T. Brittney (sp) also cam through with no show sock tips and sale details. Both were super friendly and made me feel happy and welcomed! Loved the atmosphere of the store and their vibe!”

“Ashleigh is phenomenal when it comes to helping find good fits - I've been in a few times now and each time she's helped me find jeans and shorts that fit *and* that are comfy *and* that I like how I look in them. Not an easy task since I'm incredibly picky and detest shopping for clothes. She's super kind, attentive, and really listens to me about what I'm looking for, what I like, and what I don't like. Great vibes all around and absolutely knows what she's doing and is an expert on what Madewell styles might suit the goals! The jeans are great, I already liked Madewell but Ashleigh's help is the reason I'll keep shopping in person rather than buying online!
