“I absolutely love these stores! I’ve been to almost every location and the staff is always so friendly and extremely helpful when needed. I also love that it is a cat centered store so their selection is larger than any other pet store I’ve been to for cat items (they do, however, still have dog supplies too!). Would highly recommend shopping here for any novice or experienced cat owner!”

“Nutzy Mutz & Crazy Catz is one of my favorite pet stores. When you walk in, the store has tall ceilings, fun colored walls, and the merchandise is organized and spaced well. It makes it easy to find the different animal sections. They carry excellent brands including my favorite pet brand, Fromm. They have a great selection, enough to choose from but not too many where it becomes overwhelming. Note the parking lot can get busy so there is also street parking available on Midvale Blvd. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. I brought my dog in a few months ago and was looking to change up her food. They offered me many samples and explained their return policy. If you open a large bag of food and your dog doesn't like it, you can return it. So don't be scared to try new food for your pets, they will take back open bags. They also have canned food, fresh dried food, and frozen food options for both cats and dogs. One of my favorite items in the store are these cute cat beds that look like a big mitten. They are locally made in the Madison area. My dog's favorite section is the bones. I discovered these cool bones that are considered cheese chews. It takes awhile for my dog to chew through this bone but once she does you can put the last bit of the bone in the microwave and it turns into a treat. I love discovering these new items when I visit Nutzy Mutz. And of course I love being greeted by their friendly store cat!”

“All of the staff that I encountered where very helpful and knowledgeable, the store itself was very clean and very easy to maneuver, they have tons of yummy goodies for our fur babies that other stores do not carry, and the best part of all is the self bathing stations as they are fully equipped for you to walk in bathe your pet and not have the mess to deal with at home (and the climbing over the bath tub to try to even bathe them at home) thank you to everyone that helped us out as I couldn’t be more grateful for everything.”

Her hair looked so cute! It was a full body trim she's happy about. First time no spots were missed and the long parts were done. (neck tummy arms and behind) We will definitely be back to see particularly Olivia!”
“I know many people who have had difficulty with Mounds over the past year or more, but my experience has been different, maybe because I don’t require a lot of assistance. I find what I need + if I don’t find it, I go elsewhere rather than asking a staff member at any store including Mounds. The cashiers + stockers have been busy + probably show more stress than I would like in employees. However, I understand that most industries, especially service + customer relations do not have enough staff members to meet their minimum schedules for payroll. Some patience + gratitude goes a long way on the part of us as the customers. Thank you to the staff at Mounds, please know that some of us are still with you.”
