“The only reason I took a start away is because the store is pretty small. Other than that, great store, helpful staff, and above adverts shopping experience. There are a few things here that I come for - store brands that I can't find anywhere else comparible. Also, you never wait in line here. If even one person is seen waiting, they immediately open another register. There are no self checkouts, and they bag your groceries (and do an excellent job of it).”
“IF YOU DON’T LIKE SAUERKRAUT, give Wioletta’s fresh sauerkraut a try and I assure you that this healthy fermented food will be something you’ll go back for more. They also carry a delicious spreadable sheep cheese that’s delicious. This little market appears to be a treasure of products that I have yet to explore in future visits.”
“I enjoyed looking around the store and chatting with the owner about recent trips to Ireland and Northern Ireland. They have a wonderful selection to choose from. I created a basket of my husband's favorite Irish snacks for Christmas and he loved it! Can't wait to bring him with me next time.”

“Desi Market opened up! Hooray!! I went in to check it out and found a wall of coolers full of Indian food and multiple isles filled with nice looking Indian groceries. The guy at the counter made me feel right at home and left me to slowly look at every isle.I got yummy layered mango jelly candy, coffee flavored cookies (great value) and a bag of crispy filled rounds. Each was unique and really good, and reasonably priced!Next time I'll be looking for some frozen Parantha Aloo, flatbread with potato stuff inside. I know it's within those coolers!”

“Great family owned place to buy meats. I use their beef and pork seasoning on almost everything I grill. BBQ sauce is pretty good too! Absolutely love the homemade stuffing!”
“We like to shop at Aldi's it's close to our home and it has a variety of options at a great price we've been Aldi shoppers for a long time and both the locations in Milwaukee that we go to our good locations I generally go to the one on 13th more that is my area”
“My favorite store for sunflower seeds, cookies, spices, fresh bread (cooked in the back) and especially great prices on halal chicken. I haven't tried the restaurant yet but i hear it's great.”

“I used to come here weekly for the sandwiches. So delicious. But of course, there are lots of other great things. Some of my favorites: great selection of nice charcuterie and cheeses, excellent meats, good variety of beer, wine, etc., nice produce, and a really great bakery/sweets case. We almost always get the Knudsens carmels also. Old timey feel, classic neighborhood grocery. Beware: checkout area is narrow and often congested, especially near dinner hours. Oh, and they have tiny shopping carts for the kids, which mine love. Couldn't imagine the neighborhood without this place.”
“The man at the cash register, which I am assuming is the owner, is cool with me. The man who makes the food orders in the back of the store is always very nice and he always makes sure he washes his hands before making our food. We've never been disappointed with our order! Merci beaucoup!”
“May 18th we went in to buy meat for the grill and our cashier was phenomenal. She was so happy and conversed with each of us customers. Her genuine and pleasant personality made the stop such an enjoyable experience.The beef ribs and cilantro lime chicken breast were absolutely delicious.”

“I come here for Middle Eastern groceries from out of town. Good food selection, but the best part is friendly staff. I'm always greeted like an old friend. Family-run, and the owner is awesome and incredibly helpful if you're not always sure about what you need.”
“Yes they have a lot of food and things but they are way over priced. My friend uses the Western Union from them and they charge for the trans action. He says anywhere else he goes they don't charge him anything when he receives his money.”

“Very nice clean store well stocked. I really hate to see this place shut down. I always wondered why this store didn’t sell beer, and wine coolers. Perhaps even do like some of the other corner stores that have a huge crowd such selling deli meat, or buying raw food with a quest card and allow the store to cook it for you which is a genius idea that they have been doing successfully in Detroit and Chicago. And it just started for a few years here in Milwaukee. AND you guys would be the ONLY store in that vicinity that is doing that. Bc all the stores up and down center are constantly packed bc people be buying the uncooked food and letting the store cook it for them. It’s just a suggestion.
I hope you guys could give it another chance and even NETWORK with other business owners,caterers and food truck people to do your food ordering as a group bc you will get major discounts that way and be able to lower food cost for your customers. Thanks!”
