    “The store is perfect for a small town. If they don't have what you need just ask Connie and she will have it for you on the next shipment. Everyone is always so friendly and willing to help. My daughter loves to go just to say HI to everyone. The deli is great but we LOVE the pizzas. My family from IL always make a stop before they leave to grab more brats and/or some kind of meat! Much rather give money to a small store then a big box store even if the prices are a bit more. The overall experience is much more enjoyable and friendly.”

    “This should be a 1 star review for the bakery at the Pick N Save in Monroe, but the manager on duty, Brennan, made things right. I ordered a cake a week prior to needing it. I was told by two people who work there that the timeline was no concern. I went to pickup my cake, 45 minutes before my event, only to be rudely treated by the employee in the bakery and them not have my cake ready. No phone call to let me know this would be the case. I spoke with Brennan and he made things right by allowing me to pick a cake free of charge. He is the only reason this review, pointed towards the bakery, is not a single star. As for the people I worked with for balloons, they were phenomenal and I have zero complaints. I would highly recommend them!”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
