“This is one of the two Kwik Trips in Muskego. There is another one east of here. This is the older/smaller of the two. While it might be a little dated, it has all of the essential offerings. Great location on the corners of Racine & Janesville. Nice selection of groceries, prepared foods, drinks, snacks, etc. Has beer, wine and alcohol, including a cold beer walk-in cooler. Going fishing? Even has live bait. Has a working compressed machine. Doesn't have a car wash, but there is one across the street.And like most of the other Kwik Trips, the employees are always friendly, and efficient. Never did not get a smile at the checkout.”

“Lakeview is my only choice around Muskego for gas and LP fill-ups. Shell gas has always been the best mileage gas available, but now with Shell Rewards giving me $.10 to $.25 per gallon off, every fill-up, it is by far the best value around.
I was a die-hard KwikTrip fan until I started tracking my gas mileage. I get close to 2 MPG more with Shell then KwikTrip. I still go there for their fast food, free ATM and free air, but I never gas up there anymore, or buy LP.
I used to do LP exchanges there, too, blindly without thinking. All exchanges are the same, right?…Wrong! If you have a tank from KwikTrip or most other big chain stations, look at the bottom of the label on your 20 lb tank. It says in clear view, net weight, 15 lbs! They are only putting 15 lbs of propane in a 20 lb tank! And charging more than Lakeview Shell who puts in a full 20 lbs! Gross weight is 37 lbs…compared to 32 lbs at KwikTrip. You have to wait 30 seconds for them to fill it, but it is more than worth it!
All my family and friends have switched. We decided we can’t afford to subsidize all the freebies that KwikTrip gives away.
Join Shell Rewards, doesn’t cost anything, you don’t have to get a Shell gas card, just give them your phone number each time you gas up and enjoy the savings!
And no, I don’t work for them and they didn’t ask me to post my observations. I just like sharing how a local company shouldn’t be overlooked, and see my fellow Muskego neighbors benefit from what they offer. Safe travels!
