It doesn't matter what time of day or day of the week, they are always great! I have been using Walmart Pharmacy for years now and they simply hands down the best compared to others. “I had a long and stressful day today. I took my son to urgent care, where he was diagnosed with strep throat. I made sure to confirm my son’s pharmacy twice with both the doctor and the nurse, but they still sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy — Aurora — which closes at 5 PM. By the time I realized it, Aurora had already dispensed the medication and was closed for the day.
I called the urgent care and had them resend the prescription to our correct pharmacy, Walgreens. Shortly after, I got an automated call from Walgreens saying I wouldn’t be able to pick up my son’s antibiotic because insurance showed it was “too soon” — since Aurora had already processed it.
Frustrated and worried, I called Walgreens and spoke with Peter, the pharmacist. He could’ve easily told me to wait until the next morning, but instead he was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding of my situation. He took the time to find a workaround and had the medication ready for me in no time.
You don’t often come across healthcare professionals like Peter. Many people are ready to rush out the door at the end of a long day — and I wouldn’t even blame them, being in the medical field myself — but Peter went above and beyond to help a worried parent. I truly appreciate his dedication and compassion. Walgreens is lucky to have him!”

“I'm not sure why all these negative comments are here. I go to this location ALOT and I have no issue ! You have to use your Walgreens app and check your texts for pharmacy! Maybe people are overly sensitive on the rudeness scale ? You have to tell people to their face when they are rude, otherwise they stay clueless.”
