This place is above and beyond the only place I will ever go to if I need anything. The staff they're always nice to me the boss is always nice to me likes to joke around a lot but it's always nice and I'm in a lot of pain and can't really walk and the bus took money I gave him for what I want for and he came out and put it in the front seat where it was accessible for me. Not only did he do that for me but the whole time he was lightning my mood of being down and upset with the whole being in pain and everything. They always treat you like family not just friends but family not just customers but family. And that says a lot about that place and it means the most to me that they go above and beyond for their customers. Thank you to all who work there and yes Dwayne to keep it up! Thank you again!

We stopped by the shop on 20 June 2026 to purchase 2 jars of Saratoga Peanut Butter and were very pleasantly surprised with everything else in the shop. We lived near Saratoga NY for 43 years and I became addicted to this excellent peanut butter. Now living in Madison WI, I have to order my supply online or pick it up when we visit the Northeast. A few days ago, I decided to check to see if there was any place in the Upper Midwest that carried it now. I discovered the Silver Star Market in Hayward WI, the Birch Hill Grocery in Presque Isle MI, and the Rusty Raven in New Glarus, one of our favorite little towns, located about 20 miles south of where we live. The drive down the Sugar River Valley is always great, which also takes us through another favorite place - Paoli. New Glarus is full of people stocking up on Spotted Cow beer from the New Glarus Brewery and enjoying the excellent little shops and restaurants. We expected to have our usual good time visiting this fun little town, and we did. The Rusty Raven was definitely frosting on the cake. It is the kind of place one gets when the owner clearly enjoys what they have created. We will be back.
