these thrift stores don't have the staff nor the space to let merchandise just sit on shelves for days, weeks, etc....if merchandise was truly priced too high, it would noticeably sit idly on the shelves.
but that's not the case. in fact, it's the opposite.
you may not like it, but thrifting is mainstream. capitalism is king.

“Every time I go to a Goodwill store which I frequent quite often, I can always find something that someone needs I don't really like that we have to bring our own bags now because I never know when I'm going to be stopping in. I guess I'll just put some in my trunk and leave them there for the next visit. It was very well-organized and very clean. I do like that they have fitting rooms as well.
