“I needed a grill last Fall and my neighbors told me to go nowhere else but Ace in Oconomowoc. I did and the whole experience was so pleasant. I felt like a guest in the store, the sales person in the department helped me pick out just the right one for me (I love it!) and they came to my home to set it up. Hadn't had a shopping experience that good in a very long time. A few months later a very strong wind blew it over and while the grill was fine all of the contents (grills, etc.) on the inside were mixed up or on the ground. I had no idea how to put it back together so I just put the grill in the garage until last night. I called and spoke to Phil in the grill department and he volunteered to come over and put it back together for me at no charge after work. It just doesn't get better than this store. Whenever I have a need Ace Oconomowoc is my first choice.”

“Great classic local hardware store. They always have just the right gizmo i need. The staff is super Wisconsin friendly. They are dog friendly, so I always bring my little helper. They are knowledgeable about what they sell, unlike the big box stores.”

“As far as Home Depot goes, we like this location. It's a nice/large location. We bought a lot of outdoor plants from here between spring and fall. They have a larger selection than a lot of the other Home Depots in the area, and don't seem to sell out as quickly. The pricing was also affordable. This location has become our choice Home Depot location. Home Depot (in general) usually has what we are looking for when working on our house. We love the convenience of the self checkouts, and the ease of using a gift card. The app is also great to help find if what we are shopping for is in stock and where it is located. We have no complaints for this big box store.”

“In a world that often appears to have very little customer service within the store to assist, or people that don't know anything about where they work, I stopped in to get exterior door handles, locks and keypad for my home. Because I had already made a purchase elsewhere on my own and didn't quite get it right, it was nice to have 2 young gentlemen approach me as they passed and asked if I needed help. They helped me pair up what I needed and answered questions so that I could understand how it worked. Kudos to Jake and Damon in Delafield for being present, helpful and kind!”

“Big shout out to the paint department! These guys and gals go the extra mile. Quite sure my mom and I were driving them crazy at one point and were even so kind to swap out some paint that didn't look like the sample after mixed. They have great tips and not just order takers. I also really like that you can keep all your purchase history on file with the phone number so my sister was able to replicate a color I couldn't remember easily.”
