“As a caterer who has used this venue’s kitchen for five events, I can confidently say the space is well-designed and highly functional. The kitchen is spacious, and approximately 85% of the appliances/equipments are in good working condition. You will have access to nearly everything you need to operate as if you were in a full commercial kitchen, making it easy to meet the needs of your clients.

I would recommend this venue to fellow caterers; however, it is important to note that the condition of the kitchen can vary depending on the previous renter. Unfortunately, not all renters understand the importance of proper equipment care and sanitation. Be prepared to do some cleaning beyond your normal routine when you arrive.

“We attended the CFA Waukesha Midwest Cat Show today and had such an amazing experience from start to finish!
It was absolutely worth the drive (about an hour for us), and we were honestly so pleasantly surprised by how well everything was put together.

First off, the admission price was very reasonable, especially for how much there was to see and do. As soon as we walked in, you could tell the event was very well organized despite being packed with both participants and visitors.

Even with the large crowd, everything felt clean, structured, and easy to navigate—which is a huge plus at busy events like this.

One of my favorite parts was the judging. The judges were not only knowledgeable, but they were also very engaging and took the time to explain what they were looking for. Coming from a cat grooming background, I personally LOVED this because it made the experience both fun and educational. It wasn’t just a show—you actually learned something while watching.

There were also a lot of vendors set up, and I was impressed by both the variety and the pricing. Everything felt fair and accessible, not overly marked up like you sometimes see at events. It was really fun browsing all the cat-related items and finding unique things you don’t usually see in stores.

The venue itself was great too. The bathrooms were indoors and clean (which always matters!), and overall the entire space was kept very tidy throughout the event. You could tell the organizers really cared about maintaining a good environment for both the cats and attendees.
As for the cats—SO many beautiful ones! While there weren’t a huge variety of different breeds, there were a lot of stunning Birmans, Persians, Burmese, and Maine Coons. We even got to see a Lykoi, which was really unique and exciting! There were also a ton of Exotic Longhairs this year, which I personally loved seeing.

They also had a super cute stuffed animal judging event for kids, which added such a fun and family-friendly touch. It made the whole experience feel welcoming for all ages, not just serious competitors.

The location itself was another bonus—plenty of parking and set in a quieter, smaller-town area with a nice, scenic drive in. It added to the overall relaxed, Midwest charm of the event.

Overall, we were completely in our element as cat lovers, and this event delivered on everything—organization, education, cleanliness, and fun.
We will definitely be coming back again!”

“WDHS SUMMER PICNIC. Late arrival to a scenic and peaceful setting. Classmates had charge of the hall and food. Food was tasty but I was a few hours late. Nevertheless, we felliwshipped together and enjoyed the moment. Everything you would want to have for your convenience was available including corn holes. Good to see the goodness of God through His mercy in permitting the thirty plus Classmates come together. Looking forward to the next get together and preferably at the same place.”

“Was there for a birthday party. It was ok. Had a blow up and wood climbing house with slides. But not a whole lot more. Not a lot of food choices but reasonably priced for what they had. The kids seemed to have fun but I would definitely say ages 4 to 7ish is what will enjoy.”

“We had a great stay! This location worked great for us since so much was happening downtown Milwaukee when we were there. Tara and Sarah were awesome bartenders, our room was clean and comfortable, the hotel is beautiful, and we appreciate the free parking. Our food at BLVD restaurant was delicious as well- we had apps and dinner - highly recommend the hummus platter and the New York Strip dinner.”

“Laser tag has become an annual family tradition. 11-14 of us play together for an hour and we have a blast. You can switch teams between rounds. The best part is that they have two levels so that keeps it interesting.”

“I had my baby shower at The Confetti Lounge on 8/30/25. The venue has a max capacity of 50 people, which is on the smaller side but ended up being perfect for our group.

The location was easy for out of town guests to get to. However, I do recommend having a sign on Capitol Dr so people know where to enter the lot as the venue is set back a bit in the middle of a cluster of other cute buildings.

The weather was great that day so we were also able to utilize the patio space for people to play lawn games such as cornhole.

Weather can be a wildcard this time of year and being 7 months pregnant it was important to me to have a space with air conditioning. That feature was difficult to find in a reasonable price range, this venue was easily the best bang for our buck.

There is no kitchen, which wasn’t a big deal for us but important to note. We were able to use a refrigerator to store overflow food. The venue and bathroom was very clean when we arrived and they provided a broom and dustpan for cleanup purposes at the end of the event.

I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to celebrate a short, smaller event! We had a wonderful day celebrating our growing family.”

“Love this place! My mom and I went here last Saturday and had the best time. Great service, yummy drinks, & an all around memorable experience. I loveeeee the old time feel this place gives. I can appreciate the older technology as it has a nostalgic feel to it. If you’re not feeling bowing the bar is super comfy and cozy to just go there for a drink. The lanes were well maintained & clean. The staff was also kind enough to stay open a little longer for us to finish up our game and did not rush us once. We will be back!”

“This was my first time staying at this hotel, and overall, I had a nice experience. The hotel itself was nice, and I especially liked the interior and design of the rooms. I also really appreciated the location, as it was close to many stores and restaurants, which made getting around very convenient.

The staff were decent and provided the expected level of service you would typically receive at a hotel. One thing that was disappointing, however, was the confusion surrounding the breakfast. I was initially told that breakfast was included, but when I went to get it, I was charged around $15. I didn’t see any sign indicating that breakfast had an additional cost. The following day, I noticed that a sign had been put up explaining the breakfast pricing. I think it would have been helpful to have the sign displayed consistently so guests know the cost ahead of time rather than finding out when they go to get breakfast.

Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was busy with many guests, and I noticed there was also a special events space where weddings and other events are held, which was a nice feature. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-located hotel, and I would consider staying here again.”
