“We just had Olivia as a groomer and I am BLOWN away!!! Our dog hates having her paws touched so naturally, her nails grew very long. We have not been able to cut them in about 3 years and most vets have refused to touch them with her attitude. Well, Olivia worked some kind of magic and was able to get them shorter than I have ever seen them. I am so happy with the service she provided, we’ll be booking with her from now on.”

“This place is a true gem! I have nothing but great things to say about this place. A local, independent pet supply shop offering a large variety of healthy treats, food and fun for your pets. They have everything you could possibly need and, if there's anything you're looking for that you can't find, perhaps try to ask the staff and see what they suggest. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Bring your well-behaved leashed dog in while you shop. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program so you can save some money on certain food purchases. Park in their small parking lot otherwise on the street.”

The shop has such a delightful vibe…the space is considerably larger than I thought it would be, which is so nice because there’s plenty of room to move around while you shop and allow your dog space to do the same. “Happy Paws is the best daycare, boarding, and grooming spot that we've found! We've had dogs for 30 years, and I wouldn't hesitate at all in bringing my dogs in. When we were out of town for 7 days, we were sent photos of our boy having fun playing with his doggie friends. We especially appreciate the understanding and knowledge that the staff has for our dogs. They keep them safe and active. After a day a Happy Paws, my dogs are pooped from all the fun that they've had. I couldn't recommend them higher!”

She also had cute miscellaneous items in the store from doggy clothes, socks, toys, and other treats. Fromm is carried in this store to those of you that use this brand. I’m glad this store is a part of the Greendale community!”

“My Aqueon Tank light was blinking and wouldn't stop. After a long search on the web for a fix, I finally resigned myself to buying a new costly aquarium hood with light. Then I spotted Central Garden and Pet. I made a phone call, the problem was immediately diagnosed as a faulty transformer power cord, I was given the part number, paid less than $11.00 over the phone and had the problem fixed when UPS delivered it the next day! “I swear this place is amazing! From the breeder Terri to people who were at the store (Sandy and Ed). Sandy and Ed were so knowledgeable and personable and they were so patient with me and all my questions. Sandy even provided feedback and advice on my beagle and her recommendation helped my big girl so much!!! Sandy showed us certain tricks our new puppy knew and we continue to use them at home. A couple weeks later, I noticed something was wrong with our new fur baby and I reached out to Terri for clarification on a sheet I was sent home with and not only did she answer my questions but also provided medication for our baby. She followed through on all my questions and even went as far as offering treatment for my baby. You all have an amazing team and I truly feel like I bought her from people who really care their pups go into good homes. Thanks Preppy Pup Family!”

“Haven't run my aquariums for about a decade, due to lack of time for hobbies, but Gary's was my favorite shop back in the day. I decided to dust off one of my tanks and get going again, and went straight to Gary's for some supplies. Gary was as friendly and helpful as ever, and went above and beyond this time in putting his customers first. He no longer carries the brand of power filter I have. So, I couldn't get a replacement foam block there. In spite the problems he told me about with the company, he advised me that it's a great quality filter and I should keep running it until it dies. Without a doubt, most shops would have just tried to sell me a new filter. He offered to try and find replacement foam, for which he'd be lucky to make a $1 profit. I told him I'd find one online rather than put him through all that trouble for basically nothing. I'll for sure be checking there first for anything else I need. The shop does seem to be struggling a bit: Limited selection of fish at the moment, no hired help. Hopefully business will pick up and Gary's will once again be the upbeat local gem I remember.”
