The loan officer helped me defer that loan payment for two months while I got that situation figured out (I had that coverage, too). I was able to get a new car loan while I was still dealing with insurance for the old loan and the loan officer was really helpful in making sure I knew what year to get (2015 or newer) to get the lowest interest rate (5.5%) and made sure I had the extra coverages (gap, health, disability, etc) and set up my automatic payment. Because I was buying from a dealership I had to have a purchase contract from the dealership and a picture of the title with the VIN number.”
