“We've always been pleased with the quality of the meat we get here. But this thanksgiving they outdid themselves.We got a 9 lb Prime Rib for Thanksgiving (ordered it Monday and they had it by Wed). We seasoned it with garlic, pepper, and salt, let it warm up for about 1.5 hrs and then cooked it for about 3 hrs at 300(convection) until the interior temp read 120. Then turned the temp up to 500 and did a reverse sear for about 5 min which brought the temp up to 135.When we took it out and it looked great, one end was a little overdone, more medium well than medium rare which was OK because it turned out a couple of guests liked it that way (Could have covered the ends and put temp probes there to make sure it didn't go over). We let it rest for about 1/2 hr as we finished up the rest of the dinner.When we cut into it, even the overdone end was super juicy and tender, the flavor was amazing, and there was just enough fat to get the flavor there.Can't say enough about how great this was, and it really came down to the meat choice since we didn't do anything special and even "messed up" a little.THANK YOU Superior Meats”

“This is becoming our go-to restaurant when heading up to the Duluth / Superior area to visit my family. This is a pretty classic greasy spoon type breakfast and lunch diner, where most folks seem to know each other. In fact, we had a gentleman stop over and make small talk with one of my uncles. So if you're into that kind of ambience, this place is great.The food is pretty typical type stuff, hashbrowns, eggs, pancakes, etc. Since it doesn't appear to be a gluten controlled area, I have Celiacs disease, I pretty much exclusively stick with the omelets, with the Superior Dump (pretty much everything in it: onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, ham, sausage, bacon, cheese) becoming my favorite option. They put toast on my omelet, which I gave to a family member, but I didn't mention I was gluten-free, so you have to bring that up, if it's a concern for you. I felt just fine afterwards, but you should be cautious if you have more severe Celiacs reactions.Our server was just fine, actually had two of them. They stopped by a handful of times, which was pretty much the right frequency and were very friendly. Again it's the kind of place where people are pretty familiar with each other. If you happen to be in the area and are looking for a more small-town breakfast feel, KD's is great choice!”

“So I usually don't leave reviews for grocery stores but I've always been impressed with this one I should give it a shout out. Compared to all the other options (which is few) in the downtown Duluth area, this Super One stands high above the rest. Huge selection of items, clean and aesthetic layout, and friendly staff makes this always a pleasant stop. Great way to stock up on the things you need for your camping trip or hotel stay while in the ports or to find that one thing you forgot from home. Bonus, since this place is in Wisconsin you can grab drinks at the same place”
