You can find anything and everything craft and hobby related plus a ton of home decor and outdoor decor. Everything is very neat and organized. Hobby lobby is always so peaceful, smells good, and puts you in a good mood.”

“Loved this store when I was a kid back in the mid 90s. Tons of NOS toy cars, model kids, and train supplies that you couldn't find anywhere else. Very sad to see they're closing. Not too many old school brick-and-mortar hobby shops around anymore. Went there recently to check out the closing sale and got some incredible deals on some NOS 1/64 scale cars from the early 80s. This store will defiantly be missed.”
“Where have you (Hobby Town) been? I was headed to the Aldis and discovered this traditional hobby shop next door! The best STEM education for all types of learners is building things as youth. Models, erector-type sets, science experiments, and popular characters are
available for all ages. Not much in model trains or slot cars, but there is something about putting a plastic model together, following instructions, and developing patience for a longer term outcome. Quite a contrast for child developers (parents) to the chaotic and disconcordant video gaming that reinforces immediate gratificate through exploiting others' work and creating no lasting legacy except impatient anxiety, morbid obesity, and increased childhood lifestyle diseases. Buy or build a model with your child and reap the benefits!”

“An absolute gem of a shop, with seemingly the most random combination of interests. Love visiting this store with my aunt--I, an avid collector of coins, and her, a devoted quilter.
I have also seen the owners at a couple of coin shows in Wisconsin and Illinois, and they always have a nice selection and are just as eager to help as they are in the store.”
“Staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. I enjoy their selection of coin albums and supplies especially, although I have found a number of great coins for my type albums as well. There is always something fun to look at here.”
“Purchased suede and a belt kit. I wear the belt from the kit. Suede is great. I purchased polyester yarn and wool yarn. I made a basket with some of the polyester yarn. Photos of polyester yarn crocheted white clothesline for a basket. I used Hobby Lobby gold yarn for convertible mitts, mittens extra warmth in winter with a glove or mitten sewed on my coat with sewing thread.”

“This is hands-down the best coin shop in the Milwaukee area, and that’s a fact. Better yet, it is the best place to sell your gold or silver. Seriously, let me save you from wasting a bunch of time and losing out on a ton of money, i’ve already been to the gold buyers in the greater Milwaukee area that have a similarly high rating and I made that mistake so that you don’t have to. Nobody holds a candle to these guys, they’re super friendly and helpful, they’re quick and they aren’t going to pressure you and see how little they can get away with paying you. Even if Brookfield is a bit far from your area, even if the whole reason you are selling gold is because your car is in the shop and therefore you don’t have a ride out there, walk. Seriously, I have no incentive to write this review, but I was the one comparing ratings and reviews and I didn’t have much luck getting an answer on which place is the best… so I’m really spelling it out for you.”
“Friendly staff, every person who enters is welcomed. Prices for miniatures are better than some of the o line prices. However, they still aren't the best. Large variety of paints and two walls covered in shelves of miniatures. Tables for playing towards the back of the store next to the restroom. A paint "bar" for you to come sit and build or paint your minis whenever they are open. The atmosphere is great, the staff is welcoming overall rating 5/5. (Below are pictures from a tournament I played in held here for no admission fee!)”
“Bought an extra reinforced flag about a year ago. Have had it up outside since then in an area with heavy winds the entire time, never taken down, and it still looks fantastic with no fraying. Highly recommend this company, also made here in the USA by Americans so you can’t beat that.”

“I love Michael's. I'm not a big arts & crafts guy, but they have materials and products I buy (Posca paint markers, for example) that inspire me to try new things. Various plain, boring items in the house are now painted. I saw a big hot glue gun, something I have ideas & needs for but you won't see these just anywhere. I've been going to this location for MANY years and everyone is extremely friendly. The checker today was young but knowledgeable, she brought the best coupon up on my phone, and patiently entered various phone numbers & email addresses my wife or I have until she found the rewards account. Store is immaculate, well lit and highly organized.
