“I ❤️ THIS STORE!! Not just because it is a liquor store either ;). This is the only store in Alabaster that always has the exact items I am looking for in stock when the other stores have stopped being so dependable. I also adore their employees! They are super sweet!!!”

“On my way to see my Daughter in Sylvan Springs. Had to stop for a sinus headache. Got the meds. I needed. I also found the small glass bottle of Coke. First time in awhile to purchase a bottle of Coke. Store clean and all departments were full with stock. Customer service was helpful and friendly

“It’s not often that I feel the need to leave a review after leaving my local neighborhood Gas Station . However, the service I receive day and day out from this Texaco in Alabaster is truly second to none. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with a smile and genuine care for whatever needs I may have. Also, there Smoke Shop is incredible as far as selection all the way to their fair pricing. They never run out of stock and everything is always fresh pre-rolls, To cannabis, and although I don’t smoke vapes, it seems like I would have a blast with all the selections they have to offer!! So again, listen when I say, do yourself a favor and stop by the Alabaster Texaco on industrial Road and maybe you too can make a new friend And find something in their Smoke Shop to help you get through your week!

“Clean store, tons of variety for whatever you may want or need to pick up while you’re there, and the pumps are always maintained as well, the windshield cleaning station has fluid and the trash cans are not overflowing like some other places. They also have many products at the front that are sold by local merchants!! Love this!!”

“Wasn't necessarily a great experience, but the new manager here handled it very well and very professionally. I appreciate his hospitality and his time to apologize for the inconvenience that I was dealt. I come to the store all the time and there's a good store. I never really had a problem with the store itself but I could say some people need hospitality training on how to treat people and be professional some employees will stand there and ignore you. Purposely I've had it happen personally, but overall I will give this store five stars always clean food's always fresh and the prices on gas and food can't really be compared to other convenience stores.”
“I’ve been using this Chevron for about 5 years now, since moving nearby, and I’ve ever only experienced one issue, but unfortunately, it became consistent; The closing time.
For a long time it was listed as 10:30pm and sometimes I’d get there any time between 10:05-10:20pm (my place of employment closes at 10pm, but it’s very close).
At least half a dozen times, I’ve either had to knock on the door and call out to the person (always male) usually cleaning floors or in the back, even having to tell them it wasn’t appropriate to lock customers out, or it’d been closed early. One time a guy was cleaning the floors, looked at me standing in the cold, and kept cleaning. I had to inform him it was only 10:10pm. He finally let me in to make my purchase. (I haven’t seen him since, though.)
One time, around 10:05pm, I found the manager hurriedly taking out trash. He had a migraine, had closed everything down and was trying to get out of there asap (I completely understood, but was a little frustrated).
I still gave five stars because my review isn’t intended to hurt this small business. And at least they’ve changed their closing time (now 10pm) to reflect employees’ apparent need to leave before 10:30pm.”

“I love the employees at this gas station. I live across the street so im here very often. They are the kindest and friendliest staff. They know my and my husbands name and conversate with us everything we come in. They know what I'm there for normally also which is nice. I smoke a certain vape & the owner makes sure to keep it in stock for me which is thoughtful. They look out for their customers which doesn't happen much these days.”

*I am revising my prior review because I fully believe in giving credit where it's due. Over the past 2 months, the store seems to be operating much better! Everything has been clean, well stocked, and the current employees are friendly and attentive. I'm really not sure what changed (again), but I am thankful it was such a quick and positive change in the right direction. Hopefully there won't be so much management turnover now, and it can continue in this direction. I know it may be trivial to some, but I truly love having a place so close to home that I look forward to going to (shamefully, I'm a girl of convenience - so I am in there a few times a day again now).*
Used to be my favorite convenience store! It's close to my house, and over the last 5 years I have been in there to get gas, pizza, drinks or something probably an average of twice a day, at least 5 days a week. I have no idea what has happened to that place lately, but it has gotten so bad that I drive further just to avoid going in, unless Ms. Cherie is there. She is great and works hard!! She is the only positive thing that store had going for it now. Lately the store is always out of stock of things, NEVER have any pizza or hot food, it's a mess/dirty, and tonight around 5:45ish, all the lights were on (inside and outside), but doors were locked and no sign or anything posted on the door. The only vehicles were those of customers wondering what was going on. No, they were not in the restroom. A couple who was leaving said they came about 20 mins earlier and it was locked up. I understand things happen, but this place just tanked in so many ways lately. If you can't retain employees and have that much turnover, then perhaps it's time to review how employees are treated and compensated. Because at some point, you have to try to find the common denominator. For YEARS, there was basically the same friendly faces, clean & well stocked facility, and it was a joy going in. Did ownership change? Management? Are employees treated differently now, making there be constant turnover and workers just walking out? I genuinely don't know. I never leave bad reviews, but I have talked to many neighbors and family or have completely stopped going. So the review is more just to communicate the issues in hopes the information is beneficial. It has saddened me to see the gradual (but steep) decline of this business to have it now at the point that I drive past it and go a good bit further because I usually have to leave empty handed anyways. As I already mentioned, I only stop to purchase gas or anything if I see Ms. Cherie there. I wish yall the best of luck and hope yall can figure out what happend or changed and get it resolved.”

“One of our vehicles decided to kick the bucket. It stopped running while cruising by the store. I had enough momentum to allow me to roll into the parking lot in an out of the way area. I went into the store and discussed my predicament with the staff member. I asked if I could sit in the parking lot long enough for the tow truck to arrive.He said sure.Oddly enough I snagged a picture to send to the tow truck driver letting him know where I was.”
