“My two sisters and I went in and I saw a lady at the counter helping some customers check out. As soon as she was done she immediately came up to me and asked if I needed any help. She introduced herself as Sheena and was extremely polite in helping me. I asked her about the belt selection and she helped me find the right one. She was very enthusiastic and made it clear that she loved that my sisters and I had come in that night. She said she normally is in the back, but she deserves to be in the front full time. I got a BLACK BIRMINGHAM BARON hoodie that is top quality that I really enjoy. It’s also African-American own operate. Very progressive.”
“A friend of mine has been talking about this place for a few years now and he finally took me yesterday! He loves it for their high-end, cotton bandanas that come in a lot of cool, one of a kind prints. I was slightly confused by the place. They sell some cosmetic products, perfumes, hats, and clothes. They have a rack in the back for more thrifted/vintage items ranging from $15-$110, but they also have new shirts in the front of the store costing about $100. I found a gold ring that I liked and was nervous to ask about the price but it seemed reasonable at $30, so I got it! I’m really glad to have trendy shops populating downtown Woodlawn, because I’d like to see more business in my local area. I’m just unsure about the price point of this store. I will be back to check out the jewelry and thrift rack in the back though! The cashier we chatted with as we shopped was super kind and personable.”
