My U-**** truck rental that I had set 3 weeks in advance got delayed by 4 hours the day before a big move (10hrs+ drive). I called Penske hoping for a miracle and that's exactly what Coren did! With less than 24 hour notice and on a weekend, he got me a truck that worked for me and because I wouldn't make it on time before the office closed (I was far at the moment), he found a way for me to pick it up later in the day. “Rented a 6' x 12' trailer last Saturday to haul something but it was last minute so I had to drive from Talladega to Birmingham to pick it up and I was very pleased with the service , price and how fast and easy it was . Use your local dealership of course but if not available the one off 1st avenue beside the airport in Birmingham is awesome ! Wish I could remember the sweet and helpful ladies name but I'm willing to bet she'll be the same one who helps you if you go there....she is great and will not take her but a couple minutes to get you on your way !”

“Great customer service at this location! I rented a truck online and the correct one was ready when I got there. I was checked in quickly by a friendly man at the desk. The truck was a bit battered and dirty, as all uhaul trucks are. I had no problems with the truck and dropped it back off on-time. The gentleman took the key and let me know that I could go, saying that he’d check me back in soon. I was a bit nervous about not getting a receipt but did leave. A few hours later, I checked on the uhaul website, and not only had he checked me in honestly (correct mileage, no damage, etc), he also gave me credit for the extra gas I bought. I was impressed and would happily use the convenient location again.”
