“This is my go to gas station in the afternoons because it is easy to get in and out of, is very well lit, and has a large variety of convenience items. It also has a well stocked liquor store and ethanol free gas. Must treat their employees well too because the same folks have been working there in the afternoons since the opened.”

“Went to get something to drink last night. That was the CLEANEST gas station I've ever been to in my life. The girl that was working was hilarious and she was cleaning when I walked in. She told me she was Tryshas daughter.”

As a business owner myself I must say quality service like this is much appreciated in a world like the one we live in. This place is second to none Regarding any other Gas Station in the vicinity. Truly an all in one stop shop for all of your possible needs from Gas to alcohol to good food or just someone to talk and laugh with… These guys have your back! Next time you pass by to go tell me. “Good Qt as most of them are. You get greeted when you walk in a company thing of theirs. Plenty of drinks to choose from with new menu items. Just hope they can find a way to bring back the ice cream , i think that was a big selling point especially when you wanted a old fashioned cone ice cream or sundae. Just saying...”

“Been here a few times. Most recently as of 12/25 .. Christmas Day! Yes, we needed to grab a few soft drinks , so my niece and I came here. The gentleman (the owner) who assisted us was really nice and very friendly. He really made having to come out to go to a gas station on Christmas Day not so dreadful.”

“Went by yesterday and watched the girl who has long brownish hair on dayshift change a teenager girl tire because no one would help her and made sure she was all good before she let her leave”

“Nice, clean place for a pit stop. Diesel is on an outside pump and there is room to circle around behind the store if you're hauling a long trailer. The lady inside was very nice and adept at managing both the store side and the subway side, though it would have moved faster if they had an extra person in there at mealtimes. Adding this to my list of favorite places to stop!”

“Murphy USA - Calera has recently come to be one of my favorite stops for fuel in this area along I-65. It's an easy-off easy-on quick fuel up, and on my way I go. This location is open early and late, and is price competitive. Why go miles out of my way in search of the best gas price, when I can just stop off at Murphy USA within a short block of I-65? Turning right toward Hwy 31 out of Murphy USA puts you back at the exit headed towards I-65. Murphy USA has all the usual grades of fuel, snacks and drinks - but no inside store at this location.”

“I have been in many, many gas station bathrooms over the years and as far as gas station bathrooms go this one is a bit of an unusual set up but I love that the sink has some actual counter space.”

“It’s not many times that I visit my neighborhood fuel station and feel the need to leave a review …however JAY, CONNIE and the rest of the team leave me no choice. With my place of employment being right down the street , I look forward to coming in and having a laugh and talking about the day Whether I’m in need of gas or not, I walk out feeling better than I did going in. Great group of individuals who truly care about their job and making the community feel welcomed in the process. From me and the Sysco team we want to say THANK YOU! Robert N North Star Scapes LLC”

“I don’t care what the reviews say dawg, I desperately needed this bathroom, didn’t say a word to the owners or any employees and went straight to the bathroom, not my best #2, but boy was the bathroom there when I needed it”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
