They had the old one off by the time I got back, it was installed by the time I finished paying. I made my appt in Birmingham when no one thought it was possible. “BEST GAS STATION ON HWY 157 - Can a gas station be so exceptional that it warrants a five star review? In this case, absolutely! This is by far the CLEANEST, well-stocked, thoughtful Shell station I've ever been to and the manager, Tracy, and her team deserve a BIG shout out! I travel through this region and have stopped at many gas stations, but nothing compares to this Shell. From books on the bathroom doors to picnic tables outside to the friendly, hard working staff everything is 10/10. Thank you for going above and beyond to serve travelers!”

“I am a Mexican-American born and raised in L.A. going to weddings, baptisms, quinceañeras every other weekend. I moved to Illinois 15 years ago and have struggled to find a Mexican restaurant that embodies my Mexican roots. We went to Gulf Shores for spring break and on our way back to Illinois we got hungry so we stopped here and hit the jack pot. The restaurant itself is alive and full of personality. It's like walking into a coco or book of life inspired room. I ordered the carnitas, with frijoles charros and rice and it's like eating at one of the many parties I grew up going to. Other than missing the bolillo. The carnitas were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My husband ordered the Chiles Poblanos and left a happy plate. The kids loved the food too! The drinks were good, but the food was the best part of our dining experience! If we're ever this way again, we'll definitely stop by for another meal.”
