“super cute & has lots of activities but it’s definitely a little overpriced- my only real gripe was the pumpkin patch itself though i really don’t blame the staff for this. we watched several kids throw, kick, roll, and break pumpkins over & over. maybe 1/4 of the pumpkins were broken from this. not at all saying it’s the staff’s fault but i do think they would benefit from having at least one employee in the pumpkin patch area besides one located outside of it- especially since it’s proven to be too difficult for parents to tell their kids to stop. was just sad to see a nice pumpkin & then watch someone’s kid kick a hole in it!”

“I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the Hoover-Randle Home & Gardens a few years ago, and it's such a charming venue. The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful, and the reception area creates such a fun atmosphere for celebrating with family and friends. Beyond weddings, the property is also one of my favorite hidden gems for portrait sessions. The gardens provide a beautiful backdrop throughout the year and photograph so well in every season. Whether you're planning a wedding or simply looking for a scenic location for family photos, the Hoover-Randle Home & Gardens is definitely worth considering.”

“Oris & Oak was wonderful to work with as an event planner and coordinator! Their reception space was incredibly versatile and ended up saving the day when a flash flood forced us into our rain plan. Elizabeth (the venue coordinator) was so helpful throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself. They even allowed us to begin setup before the rehearsal the day before, which made everything run so much smoother. Highly recommend this venue and team!”

“We t to a wedding here recently and it was lovely. The venue was pretty and clean. Lots of space for an outdoor wedding and the reception space was nice and open. We chatted with the owner as she drove us on the golf cart to our car. She was very kind and friendly and seamed to enjoy what she does!”

“Wow wow wow wow! We had an amazing time at this venue for my daughter’s first birthday. They were so accommodating and so sweet the entire time. The prices were extremely reasonable for 6 hours. The best in the area honestly. Even with us staying past the designated time they made it extremely easy to request more time and pay through the portal since luckily there was not an event booked after us. Everything was clean, well kept, and perfect for an intimate but fun event. Also, we served adult beverages and they made it so easy for the hired to security guard to be scheduled. Everything was truly seamless. I couldn’t have imagined a better venue to do this event at. With about 85 guests everyone sat comfortably including space for a dance floor and a designated kids table. The facility was well air conditioned for a 70 degree afternoon. Even all of my guests were very pleased with the venue and wanted the contact information for Destined Events Venue. We are sooooo happy we went with these lovely people! Thanks so much Destined Events.”

“I attended my sister-in-law’s birthday party at Superior Event Center and really enjoyed the venue. The space was nice, clean, and had plenty of room for everyone to eat, socialize, dance, and enjoy the celebration without feeling crowded. The setup of the place worked really well for a birthday party, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and have a good time with family and friends. Everything came together beautifully, and we had a great night celebrating. Based on my experience as a guest, I would definitely recommend Superior Event Center for birthdays, family gatherings, or other special occasions.”

“My family and I had SUCH a great night at Bowlero! We haven't bowled in a long time and forgot how much fun it is. Everyone had a blast. The facility was clean and orderly. The lighting and the music were ideal. We all had so much fun and I'm excited to go back in the future. I'd like to mention that Lane S. went above and beyond in helping me schedule my event and at the bowling alley, Carla did such a superb job making sure my family and I had everything we needed to enjoy our time. I didn't get his name but the man attending the bar was excellent as well. All around great customer service and exceptional experience. I highly recommend this bowling alley and I hope to go back again.”

“Returning from a week of family time in Erwin, Tennessee...we were in need of a quiet night and stay. The Marriott Birmingham was the perfect destination. Located just a mile from the Interstate, the Marriott was great to find. The lobby and reception experience was very fast, professional. We found a open and secure parking close to the front door and lobby. The walk to the room was very easy. The room was very quiet, updated and modern. The bed and shower were terrific to unwind. Even though the hotel was busy with sport teams that were in town for tournaments, the hallways and open areas were large and quiet. Ordering a sandwich and cocktails from the restaurant and bar just off the lobby was very easy, wtih a large menu and a bartender that really knew how to make a great old fashioned(!) Having a Gold Elite status, I have visited many Marriott properties across the country for work and vacationing. The Marriott Birmingham is a great property, being updated and located conveniently to major thoroughfares. For travel, business, vacations- this is a hotel to put on the 'favorites' list for anyone. Thank you to the management and staff the Marriott Birmingham.”

“Three years ago, I left a 1-star review. Today, I’m changing it to 5. The recent renovation completely transformed the place. The rooms are spotless, tastefully updated with a clean navy palette, and thoughtfully furnished with comfortable beds and modern fixtures. It’s rare to see an older motel pull off this kind of turnaround, but they did it right.”

“Check in for 1 night was easy. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are suites with sofa and small kitchenette. Good size for 3-4 people, used and need some new carpet, paint and some refreshing, but I found everything to be clean and no trash under or behind furniture. Smells clean and linens are clean. The pool is on the side of hotel and is also clean. We have not had breakfast.”
