“I went looking for work boots. I ended up getting $30.00 insoles for my Ariat's. Then i saw a pair of lace up boots on clearance. I bought them. Haven't broke them in yet but so far I like them. Seems like a pair of boots that will last a long time.”

“We had the best customer service here. The employees are probably 17-25. But they are the best I've seen in a long time. I walked in I was greeted someone tried to help me but I was just looking. I left and came back. Someone different walked up to me to help, I needed it. I asked for two sizes. He didn't come back until he found the shoe. Which they had but was hidden in the far back. I made my purchase ans was satisfied. Great place! First time here”

“We always shop Academy for outdoor gear and gifting. It's good to have an athletic store to visit with affordable pricing. Most sports shops have closed due to online ordering but we love to try on shoes , clothing and equipment. Clearance racks are also great deals. Customer service and cashiers are helpful at East Chase Montgomery location along with the Prattville location.”
