“This store has saved me so much money compared to Lowe’s and Home Depot. I purchased a pack of three extra long drill bits here for the price of one at HD. My expectations are set accordingly, but they are perfect for residential/DIY.”

“So far. Not so good. Bought hydraulic hose with fittings. Neither end fits. Took it back. Told that there was no refunds. No hydraulic hose, no work!
Told to call in an hour; boss is at lunch.
Back story. We took our old hydraulic hose with the fittings in, asked for new hose and new fittings. When we were ready to put it on 1 fitting was too small, the other too big.
Good news. They refunded our money. Since they have a no refund policy on hoses, I can't say that this would happen for everyone.
Staff was friendly and once understood the issue resolved quickly.”
“Home Depot seems to have all around better staffing than its competition. I went to Home Depot's competition to buy a few pieces of lumber and it was frustrating because they did not have the lumber labeled. Frustrated, I went to Home Depot and all of the lumber was labeled therefore I knew exactly where to find what I needed. Little stuff like that makes a difference.”

“Shopped in the nursery dept. Prices on items for which I shopped were actually less than Lowes, and I had just left Lowes, so their prices were fresh on my mind. If it weren't so much trouble to return what I had just bought at Lowes and obtained a refund, I would have done so because I could have saved about $15 or $20 on all that I bought. I will think twice before going to Lowes again, or at least maybe I will compare prices before I finalize my purchase.”
