Their fastener section is better than the big chain stores.The only complaint I have is the guy at the register that asked me why I was wearing a mask, and I told him that I was in heart failure (I should have told him to mind his damn business) he then told me me that he had TWO heart transplants and his cardiologist told him NOT to wear a mask, as if to belittle me.I'm not calling him a liar, but my Cardiologist sure wants to meet his doctor.”

“I went to Lowes to buy grill.found the one I wanted and asked Salesman if he had one all put together, he to betsaid yes. I said ok he said we'll load it. It's too big for me to unload. So he said we'll deliver it like the sign said. On Friday the day it's supposed to be deliver. Lowes in west mobile calls says they don't have one put together. I explained I paid for one already put together in Daphne. He says take that up with Daphne Lowes and the Salesman is not working but Darlene is and she took great care found my grill with my name on it. Loaded it up for me. Next week it supposed to rain I go back to Lowes and you guess it. Darling finds the cover I need. Many thanks to the hard work Darlene. Lowes needs to find more people like Darlene.”
“After reading all of the negative reviews I thought this place would be horrible. However, I had a good experience. I had a 6pm appointment but got there at 730am Sunday morning. They didn't open until 5pm so I had to wait at loves across the street. Once I did go there at 530 pm after check in, I immediately got a door. I was told drivers with appointments before me had to get unloaded first.(reasonable). Then once they got to me around 630pm, I was done by 715pm. Thanks Ace receiving department being professional.”

“I did curbside pickup for a portable washing machine. I thought it would fit just fine in my car as is. But thankfully Brad took it out the box and placed it in my back seat! I was able to unload it at home just fine as a small woman. Brad definitely needs a raise for going above and beyond! Thanks!
The washing machine is the Black and Decker 1.7 cu ft portable washer, and you can use it with 'permanent hookups' in your laundry room instead of your kitchen sink. It's working really nice. They had it shipped from Canada, and the tracking on the website kept me up to date.”

“Purchased a Weber Searwood 600 pellet grill from big Ace Hardware. It was assembled and delivered by Eastern Shore Ace Hardware. It was delivered on Friday and on Sunday, Father's day, it threw an error code that could not be cleared. My Father's day rib fest was at risk. I called Weber 24/7 customer service but they were closed. I called Eastern Shore Ace to see if they had suggestions and Tim said he would look into it. Unfortunately it was a software issue and only Weber could resolve it. Tim offered me a Weber charcoal kettle grill to get the rib fest back on track. I have a Big Green Egg, so I declined, but said I would need to come and buy some lump charcoal. Tim told me to come and get my favorite brand at no cost to me. The rib fest was on. Tim could not solve my problem, but he did what was in his power to take the edge off of it. The big box stores do not have Tim's, but Eastern Shore Ace Hardware does.”
