    “Kikstart is awesome! They have a lot of items that are heavily discounted. There are household items such as lamps and bedsheets, personal care items such as soap and toothpaste, and much more! There is also a food bank. They give you a bread, a dessert, and a shopping bag of meats and frozen items! They run the food pantry starting at 9am, however there was a big line so I would come between 8 and 8:30 to get in line. Food pantry is on Tuesday and Thursday mornings every week. You can get a bread and a sweet every day though! Thank you Kikstart for all you do for the community!”

    “This Dollar Tree really amazed me. It was stocked well and one of the neater ones that I've been in. There were actual stockers on the floor while I was there. Each $1 Tree is different. I found some nice little treasures at this one. The cashier was most pleasant. The stock guy, they called on him 2 or 3 times. He knows his store. He either walked straight to it or knew he didn't have it. The line was long and another cashier opened right up.”

    “Managed to get in the door to buy a few things before close but I didn't realize it had gone past closing time. The staff could have been friendlier as I stopped briefly to respectfully interact with the staff but no someone was holding the door wide, silent, giving me a death stare. Is that what "showing someone the door" means because I've seen friendlier door-stops. And I though introductions to a means to enter of exit isn't usually so subtle lol. More to follow”

Unlike the older woman that works there kind of seems like a manager or someone in charge.     “This store is usually busy in the afternoon/evening and rarely has more than 1 cashier. I still choose to go to this one even though the other D.G. in town is closer to my house. Its shelves are never fully stocked, I've pulled up mid-day and the doors were locked and no one was around. Don't believe the hours posted online and race up there at 9:30pm thinking you're going to make it. This store CLOSES at 9:00pm EVERYDAY!!”

    “The black lady Ms San keeps the store in order and run it better then anyone ive known there. There is never a line and the store is always in chaos when shes not there. Best customer service when it comes to her. Ive only know her a couple visits to the jefferson ave location and each time i had the best experience. Give her a promotion because she know how to run a store. Only reason they get my business. Also the other manager is really good too.”

He found some that had been that day. Great service, very friendly staff and the store is very well maintained. The aisles were wide making it easy to shop. The shelves were stocked and in order.”

    “I have lived in Hueytown for Years and this is the best I’ve seen this store it’s usually no staff and product everywhere this new manager has it clean and staffed so my shopping experience is great! When I see this store location closed for any reason I understand that Dollar General expects these people to work alone for hours and it’s unsafe or they aren’t able to get their lunch if they are there alone and the customers in this area are very entitled and inconsiderate of the people who work here I hear customers complain about the music even when none is playing the customers should relieve the workers when they need a lunch or call out since they built this specific Dollar General brick by brick and maybe when issues arise in the store and customers call to complain instead of holding a company that feeds off corporate greed and pleasing stockholders they hold they people who are doing the absolute best with what they have I pray this manger doesn’t quit she’s the best this store has had in YEARS!!! Dollar General doesn’t need better employees they need better customers who will fight for and with them not against them. ? Union reps save these employees DG employees NEED a Union!!!!!
