“I just went to the new Publix and I was quite impressed. The store was clean, organized and the employees were very friendly. It reminded me of the delchamps I used to go to before wal mart put them out of business. Some of their items are a little pricey but I think overall it would probably work out the same on my grocery bill. I will be shopping with them on a regular basis if for no other reason than to show wal mart that there is a new kid on the block.”

“I love this store, I do wish the prices were a little lower, but everything is fresh. The main problem I see, every time I buy a London broil, it is tough, no matter how I've tried to prepare it. Maybe whoever cuts the meat should cut it differently, cross-grain. Everything else has been good.”
“My first trip to Piggly Wiggly in years. WD and WM have always been closer to home. But after my visit today I will be shopping here more often. This goes out to the employees. Whoever has been cleaning this store and stocking these shelves hold your head high. I had actually lost faith in peoples work ethics. I was brought up to believe what ever you do in this life you do it to the best of your ability. You take pride in the work you do. In essence, you do every job as if your signing your name to it. This store is so neat, well kept and organized it was literally a great experience shopping here. The workers were friendly and helpful. I dont find myself too often anymore talking good about going to the grocery store but I truly enjoyed the whole experience and I know this isnt possible to achieve without employees that take pride in what they do. I was truly blowed away as to how neat, clean, and well organized every shelf on every isle was. Great job!!!”

“Every time I check out at Aldi, I am pleasantly surprised at my total. Always less than I expect once I start grabbing random things from the freezer section. I'm also a big fan of what others apparently see as a lack of customer service. I see it as an efficient, well-oiled checkout process. If you want a hug when you're checking out, go to Publix.”

“I own the place. Opened the business up in the mid 80's nextdoor to shop easy by Sidney Phillips. Someone put a hit on the Manager and I could not alow that....They made me do 25 years day for day and said I robbed my own business.”

“Beautiful aged place! The Bakery is amazing including the Cammie’s Old Dutch selections! My favorite was the kolache though. There is also a beautiful rooftop area you can eat or hang out at! Lots of cool options you don’t find everywhere and there’s a deli too! Envision almost a vintage southern publix!”
“Craving an ICEE or some of that "good ice"? Look no further than the Country Corner. It's super convenient for the residents that live near or on Kali Oka Rd. They have a little bit everything. They also FINALLY take cards. It's a 25 cent convenience fee but who cares when your in need of a "cold snack" or some gas. We love to frequent it on our golf cart or on our everyday drivers.”

They have a large variety on latin/Spanish goods. On Saturday they have delicious, homemade Tomales. And they are sooooo good! Don't hesitate to go by and see what they have in stock. “Out of all the stores I have been to, the nicest employees work here. They double bag as needed, they dont mix cans with bread or fruit in the same bag and they don't sling my groceries around. I can't say the same about the store on university.”
