“My favorite place to stay in Anchorage. A quirky little inn with so much heart and personality. Close to all the good stuff. The staff, (Lorene in particular) make it feel like family.”
“Solid option for housing in ANC. The room was large and comfortable, though the freezer smelled a bit of salmon (a frequent issue in AK). But the soup at 1730 was nice and the place was warm, clean, and quiet.”
“We always stay at the Aspen in Anchorage. They are great about accommodating our requests for a top floor room. They have some of the best lighting in the bathroom! The room we had on this trip was especially roomy and quiet. The check in personnel were friendly. We will certainly stay there again for any future trips to Anchorage.”

“This is the only affordable and well managed place in Anchorage. The rooms are clean and nice. The hotel staff are very helpful. The facilities include very clean shared bathrooms, kitchens, and a laundry room. They even have a handicap entrance at the back. I love it. Thank you for a great stay.”
“Located in what appears to be a shopping area. Facilities are clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are enormous and clean. This is not a luxury property but in this class of hotel it is an absolute value.”
“Are you kidding me with some of these reviews? It's a really affordable place to stay. I'm pretty sensitive to smells and I didn't smell anything bad while there. The room is extremely affordable and comfortable. They have everything you need including a washer and dryer. I think this is a fabulous place to stay, I've stayed here multiple times, haven't had any issues.”
“This was nice new found in Anchorage. Living in Alaska I come thru Anchorage every month and this was my first stay here. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices.
I wish, however, the hotel would place sign on the road to direct you. It was not an easy find especially with all the snow piled up.
Overall a great stay.”

“I had a hiccup with my reservations. I called later in the night and Michael was able to help me and confirm all of my details on the spot and was very patient and professional about it. No doubt in my mind that the rest of the staff is like Michael too. Thank you so much!”
“In from out of town - great spa time & the room was good. The 'King' be left a lit to be desired (it was far too short) - not even sure it was a King size, as described.
Other than that all was well.”
“A totally serviceable courtyard with well appointed rooms near the airport. There is a shuttle that runs 24/7 if you call ahead which is great and you can check in at any time.
The downside was that you gotta pay for the breakfast bar for 18.99$ and if you weren’t a member you get charged for the wifi. It’s free to be a member so don’t overlook this.
If you are looking for a good breakfast go to snow city cafe ?️❤️”
“We stayed for couple of days in here and the rooms were very clean and the breakfast at crimson was very delicious and it showed the chefs love and also the staff were great too.
As most of them mentioned the staff in crimson should get a raise.
Overall loved the stay.”

“Stayed for 2 nights. The staff was really helpful and respectful. The breakfast was really good and also the dinner was really good. The room is a typical embassy suites room. In my opinion the hotel is more for business stays. We stayed because it had suites and there was more than enough space to stay 4 persons and 2 adults and 2 kids, and hold 17 pieces of luggage.
Overall great stay.”
“I didn't stay there. I stopped by as part of my job. The staff are always professional and courteous. The place is always clean and smell good. The lobby music is wonderful”

“I stayed here two weeks ago for two nights, very friendly staff. I really enjoyed using the swimming pool & hot tub felt amazing. This is my second time staying here, 3 nights in a row. I definitely jumped in the hot tub a few times during this trip. No regrets. Love the hot continental breakfast included with your stay. Waffles ? and oatmeal were my go to yummys.”

“4 stars for the room because I reserved a two bed but was given wheel chair accessible type of room even though I am not, the microwave plate did not spin, easy fix. I apparently left a tablet after check out and they called me about two hrs later to tell me I forgot it and to pick it up. Not many places will do this, I appreciate it and will continue to book here.”
“For a short time, this review was going to be very different. I had a maintenance problem in my room that was going to require me to move to another room late in the evening. I was getting a bit frustrated with the situation and asked for the General Manager's card to send him an e-mail after my trip. I was even pondering the negative review I might leave because of the issue.
Then, something magical happened. Apparently the front desk called the General Manager (Daniel) and told him I was frustrated. Daniel LEFT HOME AND CAME TO THE HOTEL at 8pm to address the issue with me directly. From my perspective that level of service and dedication to customers is above and beyond anything I would expect from any business, much less a mid-level hotel. Thank you, Daniel. You taking the time to help work through my problem was greatly appreciated and turned a negative experience into something very positive.
Now the specifics of the hotel. Overall, it is clean, well maintained, and in a decent location. The breakfast area was well stocked (standard Fairfield Inn fare) when I was there and the people working were friendly and efficient. The exercise room was small (two treadmills, an elliptical, a bike, and a few dumbbells with benches, but everything worked and was adequate for a quick workout. The rooms were clean and the furniture and carpeting were all in good condition. If you are coming to Anchorage and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, the Fairfield Inn in midtown Anchorage is a great choice I would recommend.”
“Nice, clean, older well-kept home. Very comfortable and convenient to downtown. Larry & Allen were gracious hosts and offered a lot of ideas for excursions and friendly conversation.”

“Given the circumstances and not being able to go on our cruise from testing positive for Covid, the folks here were wonderful. The rooms were efficiencies and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and they had good internet and cable services. We opted in for the meal program and were delivered a variety of food for all three meals. The young men at the reception area were very nice and had great a great sense of humor. They brought us fresh towels every day and any of the items we were running low on. For five days, they were our lifeline. Perfect scenario? Of course not but they provided a comfortable setting to make our quarantine stay the best possible situation we could have hoped for. THANK YOU!”

“Perfectly clean room, linens, microwave and refridgerator. Comfortable bed. Friendly, efficient, helpful staff. Convenient location. Great price. Pets stay free. All the things that really matter get 5 stars. The only reason for my 4 star rating is this is a basic, clean, comfortable but not luxurious hotel. We will definitely be return guests.”

“My room was very clean, smelled clean. TV worked. Bed comfortable. Someone reviewed the area was bad, but I didn't see a soul hanging around. I didn't feel unsafe & I'm a senior woman traveling solo. Only issue was the gawd awful LG AC unit. It was loud & it wasn't the volume that was irritating, it was the way it sounded like a jet plane rattling and dropping it's pieces. Never heard such racket from a motel unit. It finally settled down abit hours into the night. Other than the AC, my night was quiet. They have breakfast, too. So just minus 1 star for the AC.”

“When I first moved to Anchorage, the apartment lease I applied for got pulled last minute. This place was the reason I wasn't living out of my car while trying to find a new rental.
They took what would have been two of the worst weeks of my life and made them not only survivable, but actually kinda pleasant. Can't thank them enough.”

“The family operating this business is very kind and understanding. If you're honest and transparent about your needs, they will be too. I spent several days and was very pleased.”
“This is a budget hotel in Anchorage, Alaska. It is part of a bar/restaurant. The rooms are clean, but do you smell of smoke. you get your room key from the bar and the people helping her great just know what you’re getting into the rooms are small. Have a smell of smoke but I felt safe in the area if you’re looking for a place to crash this cheap this is it”
“Good place to stay, has breakfast, pool, wifi, etc. Very quiet, rooms are nice. No room service unless you ask for it and location is good...very close to the downtown”
“Rooms: The room we stayed in was very nice. The bed was super comfy. I just wanted to snuggle down and never get up.
Food and drinks: Fletchers was a nice place to eat at. The food was pretty good especially their stuffed pawns.”
