“Not sure if they have a physical store anymore. This is a bus parked by Baker park disc golf course. They had a great disc selection, and the guys inside were super friendly and helpful, they helped me pick out the perfect disc. They also have disc rentals for anyone who wants to try the course.”

“I like this fly shop! I like that the website stays up to date with their stock. I spend a lot of nights online… just looking. Then impulse takes over and I make an order. I always select pick up in store and whip over in the morning, or after I finish up on the river. They always have the orders packed up and ready to go. And I’m always seeing them float by while I’m out and we have a quick friendly exchange. They also give me lots of room when they float by, if they see me tucked up on a bank somewhere. “The Calgary Stampeders are my favorite team in professional sports. Probably because they are the first team that I ever got to know. They are a model of consistency for the last 30 years.I think everyone in Calgary appreciates that and are proud of that. The Stampeders however need to invest in a new home, and make the home game experience better.In the 90's it was a big deal to attend a game, and almost impossible to get a ticket. Now you can't even give away a ticket. I do still love ❤️ the Stamps, mostly out of loyalty.”

I am in a different province and ordered running shoes online -- I have wanted this exact pair of shoes for a while and Strides was the only place I could find them, as they were a previous year's version. I had to return them for another size and there was a frustrating postal-related issue that made the exchange a challenge. Strides staff were so friendly and patient in helping me navigate this! “I popped in here on Weds 11 Feb. Got my gait analyzed and some quality advice on the right runners to buy. The guy (Tony?) was very attentive and knowledgeable but did not pressure me into buying. I left with runners, leggings, and socks and they are all quality. Definitely worth taking the time to get guidance on what to wear.”

As a runner it can be intimidating signing up for races but I’ve only ever felt welcomed and part of a strong community at their events. Would highly recommend the stuff-your-stoking race!”

Been going to Professional Skate since early 1990’s when they were the “go to” store for high end hockey skates (which at the time were custom fit Grafs)! They’ve been consistently one of the best skate sharpeners in town. Some other great ones have since retired, there are still 2 or 3 in the city i would trust, but these guys have been, and are, consistently one of the GOATs!
Glad to see that though they’ve moved into a great new place in a new part of town, they’re just as good and friendly as ever! i encourage you to buy the skate sharpening card, it works out to only $8/sharpening. Which is almost Sportchek cheap but done by true professionals!”

“Had a great experience today getting my first climbing shoes! The person who usually worked the climbing section was on break when I came in but the lady who ended up helping me was so fabulous. (I don’t remember her name but she had long grey hair) Very kind and didn’t seem to mind me trying on a billion different shoes to get the right fit. When the usual fellow came back from break he had great tips to make sure the shoes I had fit properly.
Found the perfect shoes and even better, they were clearance so I saved $60!! :)”
“I had one of the most unexpectedly amazing retail experiences of my life at the Southcentre Lululemon location.
I originally went in just looking for a lightweight sweater for work because I’ve gained some weight recently and honestly haven’t been feeling very confident in myself. I wanted something comfortable that would help me feel a little better and maybe hide some of the weight gain.
While I was there, I decided maybe it was time to finally buy clothes that actually fit properly instead of trying to squeeze into the size I thought I still was. So I grabbed some pants and shirts to try on as well.
The moment I got into the fitting room and realized I needed to size up, I was genuinely upset. It hit me harder than I expected.
The woman working in the fitting room area was an absolute angel. She noticed I was struggling emotionally, came in, reassured me, calmed me down, and helped me feel good about myself again. She brought me clothing that actually fit properly, made me feel comfortable instead of embarrassed, and treated me with such kindness and compassion that I honestly left the store emotional in the best way possible.
She did not HAVE to care that much, but she did.
And truthfully, every single employee in the store was phenomenal. The atmosphere was welcoming, supportive, and completely free of judgment. Instead of leaving feeling defeated, I walked out feeling confident, cared for, and genuinely excited about my clothing again.
Because of this experience, you’ve gained a loyal customer. I absolutely understand now why people love this brand so much.

We had our 8 yr old power station crap out on us on an eight week cross country camping trip and called ahead to order a Jackery power station and solar charging adapter cables. Not only was the Jackery on sale at a great price but it was in stock. Diego went out of his way to order the adapter cables we needed and helped us set everything up in our camper right in the parking lot. They even fully charged the power station for us! They literally saved our vacation! Thank you so much!”
