“I have two pairs of Vita pants that I've owned for four years. I use them for work so they often get damaged. Fjallraven's repair policy has been incredibly clutch, as I wear one pair while the other is being repaired. While they have removed the in-store repair specialist (I was sad to see her go), I have not had to wait more than three weeks for repairs to be completed and the pants returned via package service. Prices have certainly gone up, but remember that having a never-ending repair policy is still going to save you money on buying a new pair of Carhartts every time the crotch blows out (give or take two months after purchase, in my experience). In addition, this branch of the store has always been very helpful and organized, and their current staff is top notch. Highly recommend.”

I didn’t really know what to do in terms of running coming into winter, but after a quick chat with Noel he told me exactly which paths are plowed for commuters and are great to run on. We then pivoted to looking at some soft cushioned shoes for my slower runs, and some gravel shoes too. Extremely knowledgable about all shoes they sold, and I ended up with a pair of Solomon aero glide 4s GRVL which I’ve had my eyes on for a while. The whole process was so easy, trying loads of different pairs on the in store treadmill and making sure they were right. For anyone who is in the market for a new pair of shoes I cannot recommend this place enough!”

It was almost the end of the World Cup so I knew my chances were slim to find a Portugal Size M with #7..Kicks wasn't showing any in my size online but I called there South Store and Daniel was an absolute beauty!! “The Calgary Stampeders are my favorite team in professional sports. Probably because they are the first team that I ever got to know. They are a model of consistency for the last 30 years.I think everyone in Calgary appreciates that and are proud of that. The Stampeders however need to invest in a new home, and make the home game experience better.In the 90's it was a big deal to attend a game, and almost impossible to get a ticket. Now you can't even give away a ticket. I do still love ❤️ the Stamps, mostly out of loyalty.”
“Great new store same great service! Been going to Professional Skate since early 1990’s when they were the “go to” store for high end hockey skates (which at the time were custom fit Grafs)! They’ve been consistently one of the best skate sharpeners in town. Some other great ones have since retired, there are still 2 or 3 in the city i would trust, but these guys have been, and are, consistently one of the GOATs! Glad to see that though they’ve moved into a great new place in a new part of town, they’re just as good and friendly as ever! i encourage you to buy the skate sharpening card, it works out to only $8/sharpening. Which is almost Sportchek cheap but done by true professionals!”

“I had one of the most unexpectedly amazing retail experiences of my life at the Southcentre Lululemon location. I originally went in just looking for a lightweight sweater for work because I’ve gained some weight recently and honestly haven’t been feeling very confident in myself. I wanted something comfortable that would help me feel a little better and maybe hide some of the weight gain. While I was there, I decided maybe it was time to finally buy clothes that actually fit properly instead of trying to squeeze into the size I thought I still was. So I grabbed some pants and shirts to try on as well. The moment I got into the fitting room and realized I needed to size up, I was genuinely upset. It hit me harder than I expected. The woman working in the fitting room area was an absolute angel. She noticed I was struggling emotionally, came in, reassured me, calmed me down, and helped me feel good about myself again. She brought me clothing that actually fit properly, made me feel comfortable instead of embarrassed, and treated me with such kindness and compassion that I honestly left the store emotional in the best way possible. She did not HAVE to care that much, but she did. And truthfully, every single employee in the store was phenomenal. The atmosphere was welcoming, supportive, and completely free of judgment. Instead of leaving feeling defeated, I walked out feeling confident, cared for, and genuinely excited about my clothing again. Because of this experience, you’ve gained a loyal customer. The outdoor retailer plans to open a 100,000-square-foot store in College Station, Texas, in 2028. It'll sit along State Highway 6, north of William D. Fitch Parkway, next to a Costco and in front of the future South College Station baseball and softball complex. On Sept. 24, the College Station City Council approved a $10.84 million sale of 28 acres in a unanimous vote. Bass Pro gets about 14 acres for its store. Dallas-based Corinth Properties will build a mixed-use project with restaurants and an event plaza on the other 14.
