“My experience at Gords was not what I was expecting, as soon as I entered I was welcomed in and the whole process began. They ask you all kinds of questions to better understand your goals and needs as well as what you need due to past injuries. I was lucky enough to get Gord himself, his understanding of the human body and foot makes him the perfect person to find you the shoe you never knew you needed. Not only was the experience a 10/10 but the prices are better then or comparable to running room and sports check.This will be the only shoe store I go to and that I recommend my friends and family to go to!(They also offer low prices on previous year models, I got these brooks for 149$ regular price 200$)”

“I have flat feet and uneven legs which could only be addressed by custom orthotics. Shoe Solutions was a top search result and the products I've bought, both premade and custom, are of very high quality and has significantly improved my quality of life. I can finally be on my feet for an extended period of time and stand on both legs evenly without pain! :DLowell and his assistant are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Any questions were welcomed. Every part of the consultation process was easy to understand and follow along. Concerns that I would not have known about were addressed proactively; in my case, slipping out of a running shoe due to my custom insole's heel height difference.Both premade and custom products can be submitted for insurance claims (depending on your provider). Lowell provided detailed reports and receipts as soon as my purchase was made.I would happily recommend this place's products and services to anyone. Would also shop here again in the future!”

“I went to Sole to Soul at North Hill Centre in Calgary to purchase Hoka hikers and Blundstone boots, and had the best experience I have ever had in a shoe store. Mary D. was superb in helping me find the models of these brands of shoes and boots that fit me best. I am hard to fit due to using orthotics, and despite that she made my fitting experience there amazing. Not only that, she went the extra mile in ordering in additional boots so that I could get the model and colour of boots that best suited me and my feet, AND she also cleaned up and polished the older Blundstones that I wore into the store. What exceptional service!! She is a gem!! I will definitely return to this store.”

I brought them in for repairs and received a brand new pair for free instead. The person who helped me said he had never seen these boots rip the way mine had, especially after only 2 months.”

“This was the first time I've shopped at a running room, the staff member I met was great, she knew her products and even helped point me in the right direction for what footwear would fit my specific requirements. I left there with three pairs of running shoes with a bring back promise. I never needed to take them up on that because her suggestions were right on the money. “The staff are extremely nice and super helpful. Destroyed my hiking shoes today and decided some vans were the replacement. I was immediately asked by a nice staff member wearing a beanie and glasses If I needed a hand. They suggested some of the vans outdoor style shoe. After finding a pair of shoes that I really liked, I asked after same staff member about other lace colours. He suggested some checkered laces he thought would look good and I have to admit, my new shoes look amazing. Definitely would recommend going to this store. 100/10TLDR:-friendly and helpful staff-great variety of products-amazing recommendations”

“Aldo market mall has one of the best customer service ever! I went on Friday because there seemed to be some great sales! The store was extremely packed but the worker Ahmed was a superstar he was helping multiple customers at the same time, yet I felt like he was giving every one of them attention. He answered my questions and seemed extremely knowledgeable about the products. Got some sticky grips for the bottom of my shoes, his recommendation works like a charm! “Pegah was extremely helpful when I was shopping at Browns in Calgary Chinook Centre on January 11, 2024.I had bought some Blundstones online and came to pick them up. I tried them on in store and realized they weren’t what I was hoping for. Pegah showed me all the different styles, explained the difference between them and then brought out various sizes and styles for me to try, even changing the insoles for each showing me the difference that the winter ones made to the fit. They did this all while also helping another customer, smiling and patiently waiting while I made a decision. They were neither overbearing nor absent.I hope they will receive some sort of recognition because the time they took with me and the knowledge of the product they have is rare in retail these days.”
