“We purchased lights for our home at Park Lighting and received excellent assistance from Katrina Tufty. We used the installation service and the installers arrived exactly on time. They, Dawson and Harley, did an excellent job. They removed the old lights, installed a dimmer switch and the new kitchen pendants, dining room chandelier, hall light and walk in closet light in about an hour. Great job folks and Thank You all!”

“I procrastinate when there are too many choices so I went to this location and decided to just ask someone there for help making the actual choices for a house Reno (bathroom and kitchen). Kunwar (apologies for the spelling) was incredible. Took on the challenge, asked me the right questions to narrow down option and then he’d present me 2-4 choices. That made choosing so much easier. If I had to do that myself, no choices would’ve been made. I’m honestly shocked how well this went. We designed two new bathrooms and a kitchen too. I go here a lot and everyone is very helpful”

“I rented a carpet cleaner from the tool rental area in Home Depot. It was a fast, no fuss process and the machine was plugged in and checked for full functioning before checking it out of the store.
A chair/stair attachment and detergent is available and the price is good.”

“I am advising you that I have had to return two (2) American Standard broken toilets to your store within two days. I am also out funds for two plumbing visits and another in my future, and my renovation has been delayed yet again. I am not happy with American Standard.

However, I am very happy with the RONA Southside customer service, Efrem T. and Darren S. and their commitment making this right for me. They have both gone above and beyond their due diligence in this situation.”

“Went to buy bulb for new garage door opener. Took screenshot of what looking for on website. Went to store and had trouble locating bulb name. Eventually by matching stock number, I found it. Was different packaging. Took home,installed it, and it works awesome.”

“Purchased a fridge from the Lowes on Gateway Blvd prior to it closing in 2023 which we were informed came with a 10 year warranty on the compressor.

Called LG for assistance on a issue we were having with our Fridge cooling and were then asked for proof of purchase that unfortunately neither myself or my husband could find. We then went to the now Rona in South Common but were informed by their service desk that they were unable to help us find our receipt as their systems had since changed and gave us a number to call Lowes for assistance in the states. After multiple attemtps to get ahold of Lowes for help, we ended up not having enough information for them to look for our purchase unfortunately and accepted that we would now need to look at purchasing a new fridge sometime in the future.

We ended up needing to go to the Rona on the Northside as all the store's near us were sold out of sump pumps. My husband had called ahead to see if they would would put one aside for us before we headed there, which the manager Meghan had graciously agreed too.

When we arrived we had it waiting for us at the service desk with a women (I believe her name was Donna), she was incredibly friendly and helped us with the purchase. My husband then decided while we were there to take a look at Fridges as the cooling problem with ours had started getting worse. There was unfortunately no one available in the Appliance area so Meghan came over to assist.

We told her we were the ones who asked to have the sump pump put on hold and thanked her for agreeing to hold it for us. We then went over Fridges with her and when we told her what happend to ours she mentioned as well that LG should have been able to assist as the Compressor was covered for 10 years. We told her we had already tried going through LG and that we were unable to find the receipt as the store had closed. She asked when we purchased it and then invited us over to her computer and asked for our information.

Within minutes she was able to locate our receipt! My husband and I couldnt believe it. She printed it off for us and gave us a number to call LG again and told us to reach to her if we had any more problem. As of today we have now been serviced by LG and parts are on order!

I just want to say thank you to Meghan for saving us a purchase! It was our first time in this store and it was worth the drive.”
