“I was happy with my experience at Avis. The process itself was simple and quick, and should I need to rent a car again, I would definitely rent from this location again.
My only recommendation to future customers would be to pre-pay for gas, and if you don’t, make sure you fill it to the level it was at when you rented it. Otherwise, you’re going to pay an insane amount of money for gas.”

“I was super impressed with the manner the young lady treated me. She was attentive, kind and very efficient. She gave me a choice of very nice cars. The car was clean and ready to be driven off the parking lot. The location might be unassuming but the service was excellent. I am sorry I did not get the name of the young woman. “I booked through Hotwire and got a great deal with Sixt. After reading the recent reviews, I tried everything I could to cancel the rental without losing my money. When I found out that wasn’t possible, I decided to buy Sixt’s insurance so I’d be fully covered for any damages.
In the end and the reason for my 5 star review, I actually had a great experience. Check-in was super quick and easy, and while I was chatting with the guy in the lot, he surprised me with a free upgrade to a new BMW. I also didn’t get hit with any unexpected charges afterward like so many others mentioned in their reviews.
My personal experience with them was excellent. Unfortunately, after reading so many negative reviews across multiple sites, I’m still not sure I would rent from them again.”

“I got my tailwheel, complex, and high performance endorsements here and am working on my instrument rating. CFI and airplane availability is no worse than anywhere else (which is to say terrible, but that's just the state of general aviation for the past 10 years). When I've found questionable items during preflight, maintenance crew is on them immediately. Some instructors are more brusque than others, again, just like everywhere else. About my only gripe is that the tailwheel endorsement is a fixed 10 lessons/flights regardless of ability, more like a part 141 op than 61, and that the PA-18s are almost never available for $200 burger runs.”
“Reserved through Costco to get the less expensive rate. When I arrived at the location they didn't have the truck or the reservation. Appears to be a problem on the costco side of the transaction. Paige at the front desk was friendly and helped to locate another truck up the street. Alan at the Mesa office was also friendly and professional. Although not how I planned the morning to go. I know it could have been a lot worse and they made it right.”
