Pricing was right on point with what I pay from the online store so much rather take a bit of time and support a local shop. Really great quality frozen feeder mice and rats that are sanitary and vacuum packed. A huge variety of pets are available, including some gorgeous boas and skinks; but the real standouts are the amphibians and inverts - I’ve never seen such an array of tarantulas, scorpions, centipedes, isopods, millipedes, even beetles and mantids. Lots of plants for terrariums and vivariums as well. The staff are all exceedingly knowledgeable, helpful, patient and friendly.

I regularly visit to pick up mice and super worms for my bearded dragon and snake, and I couldn't be happier with the selection. The staff is not only helpful but incredibly knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Brock, who went above and beyond. He was friendly, shared valuable insights, and even showed me what a furry mouse looks like - a level of service I truly appreciated. The inside has a nice ambiance, though it does carry the expected scent of animals. The presence of a cool macaw adds to the charm, making every visit delightful. The Pet Shop has become my go-to place for pet food, and I can't recommend it enough. Five stars for the excellent service, variety, and the joy of seeing that charismatic macaw!

3654 N Power Rd STE 119, MesaI made an appointment and took my pup to the self wash a few weeks ago at the Power & McDowell location . The girl working there was very sweet, informative, and kind. There was another person who walked in at the same time as my appointment and she made sure that since I had made the appointment I went first. It was very clean and cute inside. The self wash area was wonderful. The large basin with the steps for dogs made it so much easier than trying to wrestle my new pup in the kitchen sink or bath tub at home and the sprayer/ hose was awesome. They had every thing I needed right there to give my puppy a good scrub and provided towels and dryers to dry her off with after. I would and have recommended that other people go there and do the self wash it's much easier than doing it at home.

The customer service here was amazing from the moment I stepped in Alison at the front was very helpful with buying food as well. When I came in they went over everything with me that would be done and when I went for pick up I was very very satisfied with the groom dolly looked amazing. I can’t say enough good about her talent, patience & overall pleasantness. My fur kids were always nervous before & now they do not mind at all! They always look fantastic! She is very astute. She found a lump on our one fur kid that turned out to be cancer. Had she not found it, it would have gone un-noticed until his next checkup almost 7 months away.

1731 W Baseline Rd, MesaExcellent experience from my initial phone call the lady who answered the phone was incredibly helpful, to arriving home with some yummy cherry flavored cow ears! My 7 month old Dane is terrified of pretty much any and every one and thing. The staff assisted me in lifting all 100 pounds of Walter into the wash tub. Their shampoo and conditioner although not overwhelmingly fragrant but leaves them with a very pleasant smell afterwards, leaving his fur shiny and soft! The amazing groomer took time out of her busy schedule to do a nail trim/grind on my terrified boy and she did such a great job, she was super patient and calm with him. Highly recommend Green Bulldog!

2333 S Power Rd, MesaOur 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback was not acting like himself…he was lethargic and had loss vision in one eye. Dr. Emily Ozmun was our doc when we first brought him in to Power Ranch. Our boy is very anxious and not a fan of the vet. She and the other techs were very patient and did all the could to slow down and assess him accurately. We had a concern after leaving and Dr. Emily called us back that day. It was identified after tests our dog had Valley Fever. Dr. Emily called us after each blood test to talk with us and make a plan, and even emailed a summary of our conversation so I could properly reiterate it to my partner. She has been truly empathetic and genuine in her care. We’ve all never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes to be seen and all the techs have been amazing. Itll be a journey for us with our pup, but it’s a little less difficult knowing we have a great vet on our side.

missed that window and had to wait a year to get her in, but it was well worth it. In the two weeks she was in bootcamp, they accomplished a ton of stuff. Basic manners were reinforced, during leash training. dealing with aggresive, reactive behavior with other dogs, jumping up on folks etc. Sergio was with me all the way after bootcamp patiently listening to me or responding to my texts for advice. We moved her to E training which she has responded to very well. I cannot say how many compliments I get all the time on how chill she is, and how well trained she is! I'm very proud of her and so grateful to Sergio for his hard work with her!

We found Balanced Pooches and thought we would give it a try. John trains you, the owner, how to effectively use positive reinforcement, and leadership training to get your dog to listen and be your friend. It’s a very personable experience. He gives you the tools you need to continue training your dog after the sessions are finished. He’s also much cheaper than a lot of alternatives but still provides a quality service. We have seen many positive improvements in Charlie. I wish we had started with John earlier!

My husband and I lost our previous Mali in a tragic accident, and we ended up getting another Mali, Lucy. As you could except losing a pet is extremely hard especially in a tragic manner. This being said, i was so insanely anxious to let her out of my sight let alone board her.. after meeting the team in the evaluation, and truly seeing how kind and supportive they are with every dog, we were convinced. Lucy spent exactly 2 months with them. Kristin had EXCELLENT communication with me the entire time she was away. Not only did we get cute photos of her progress, we went in weekly (after she adapted to being there) and got to learn with her and practice with her. It is like a night and day difference. The tips they gave and the instructions were above and beyond. Lucy is one of the best trained dogs we have ever had. Best investment we have made. Not only is her training insured throughout her entire life, they offer 1-1, group classes, and fun trainings through her life span and help with different life changes that can affect behavior such as a becoming new parents. I can not recommend this place enough!!!! Thank you Jason and your team for creating a brand that truly dedicates the love and devotion and development these animals need. Lucy loves you guys!?

Camp Bow Wow
2647 W Baseline Rd, MesaMy dog was at Camp so he could play, and then I had a last minute event come up the next day, so I needed to leave him overnight. I was a little stressed about it, but the staff was incredible. Ashton went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly. They gave him a bath, extra snuggles, double checked his allergies, and followed amazing safety protocols the entire time. During my event, I kept the pup cam up on my phone, my coworkers and I were watching him play while we worked. It was so comforting to see there was always a staff member out there with the dogs, and more staff came out when the pack got bigger. They even matched his exact feeding schedule and measured out his food perfectly, which I appreciated so much. He came home so happy and tired, and I was able to enjoy my event without worrying. We even got a personalized pup card about what my dog did at camp!! I could not be more grateful to Julie and her team for taking such great care of him.

14 Waterhouse Ln, ChesterI called and interviewed two other trainers before Belinda and, as much as they tried to sell me on the use of shock collars, in the end I just couldn't do it to either of my dogs. My oldest boy was a rescue who came to us extraordinarily scared and timid. It took me a good 6 mos to get him to trust me, and now he's my little shadow. He remains timid and very shy, and I fear a shock collar would make him revert back to where he was when we got him. My younger dog is also a rescue but he's just a little guy and when I felt the "shock" of the collar even at a very low number I knew I couldn't put one on him. Enter Belinda! Positive and explains dog psyche. Gives advice on adding a new command onto a learned one. She spent some time getting to know my boys and they loved her. I just wish she were in Arizona year round, as I lost several months training time with her due to a knee surgery.

They want you to succeed in training your dog and they give you, the owners, the necessary tools and advice to help you and your dogs build a better relationship along with the obedience training. Sarah goes above and beyond and even after we left her class, she still took the time to see how my dog is doing. I will always recommend State 48 Dog Training to anyone who is looking for a great trainer.

At our initial evaluation, Katy provided several situations to encounter different dogs and gave an effective tool to address the reactivity on my first visit. After a few day care sessions we saw how quickly our shepherd was responding to the training. We ended up signing up for board and train so she could learn all the things! We are so impressed with Katy’s training, in addition to her treating our dog like one of her own. Such an awesome facility and training experience. Highly recommend.

They offered a great intro rate and their packages are reasonable. You can also ask to receive a "Pawgress Report" which are photos of your dog during their stay. The staff is super friendly and the facility is great. We've only done the daycare part but I know they offer overnight stays and other extras like a dog spa. The interior is very inviting with pink everything. They had pies stacked on tables the week before Thanksgiving. Their pricing is very fair, and the service is wonderful. 1231 W Baseline Rd, MesaHonestly, we came here by accident thinking it was Tumi, but since we were already inside, we decided to give this place a try and I’m so glad we did. We were blown away by how delicious the food was.
My favorite dish is Cau Cau, and I’ve only ever had my grandma’s recipe. I decided to take a chance and order it here, and it absolutely blew my mind. The owner was incredibly friendly and even gave my son a free scoop of ice cream while he watched the cooks in the back “make fire” on the grill.
My son is autistic, and it’s usually very difficult to get him to eat red meat, but he didn’t hesitate at all with the meat in the lomo saltado, which is how we know he loved the food too.
They brought the food directly to our table, even though they could have simply called out the order from the counter. Instead, they took the time to walk it from behind the counter, through the kitchen, and over to our table. The service was outstanding, and the food was phenomenal. We will definitely be coming back.

28 S Dobson Rd #103, MesaWent to Crafti last Friday and again on Saturday at mekong plaza in Mesa, AZ. First visit with my daughter. Love the interior theme layout, friendly staffs and clean cute store. Ordered the hojicha black sesame and matcha strawberry oat, reasonably priced and loved the drinks. Will definitely be back next time we are back in Mesa.

40 N Macdonald #2, MesaWe'd heard great things but weren't sure what to expect. We tried the Cookie Monster, as recommended by the staff. The donut was warm, soft, and absolutely delicious, and pairing it with the ice cream was chef's kiss. We savored every bite of this sweet indulgence. Plus, there's a charming little bookshop right next door, which made the visit even better! Highly recommend.

15124 S Mountain Rd, MesaWow! I searched all over for a breeder when I decided I wanted a coton and am so glad I found Cathy. I wound up getting my pup Primmie from one of the litters with her partner breeder Dianne and she is a perfect puppy! My whole family is in love with her! So well socialized, mellow and already potty trained at 8 weeks! I could see that her mom and litter mates were all raised in a loving and clean home. My vet was so impressed with her. I've never experienced such an easy adjustment period with any of the puppies I've had over the last 30 years. Cathy and her partner breeders are truly the best.

446 N Higley Rd UNIT 102, MesaDebbie contacted me through a Facebook post I had made and gave us great information regarding 2 puppies that due to a family medical issue, had to be rehomed. She was very thorough and gave us great advice. After a long discussion we decided to go with this rescue and they are truly amazing! Glenda drove all the way to Payson to pick them up for us so we didn't have to drive to Phoenix. The communication has been top notch, and the care everyone we encountered has for animals shows. I love that they go straight into foster families and you can follow them on Facebook. I can't recommend this place enough!

Kitty Kat Rescue, Inc.
6932 E Hampton Ave, MesaWe brought home little Gertie three days ago, and she’s already proving to be the sweetest, most well behaved kitten. We first introduced her in my 19 year old daughter’s room, since it’s tucked away from my younger, louder boys room. She quickly decided that was her safe space. We keep the door open so she can come and go as she pleases, no pressure to her.
Now she’s getting braver with exploring and has even made her way to the back of the house, curling up on my lap in the sunroom office. My boys adore her and are so gentle with her. My 3 year old will happily play with her using the toy fishing pole for half an hour at a time, which is perfect for burning off that kitten energy.
She’s already such a loved little kitty. ? And I have to add, the two ladies who helped us with the adoption were so kind and helpful.❤️

Maricopa County Animal Care and Control
2630 West Rio Salado Pkwy, MesaCame by today! The workers were all super sweet and the facility is very clean. Will be coming back to check up on available dogs for adoption. They’re all such sweet babies and I know this facility is doing the best they can to care for them. Hoping to adopt one this week!
