Take 59th ave off of buckeye (the frontage road, that only goes north!) Turn on Washington, then 57th. Come in the first gate and you'll be all set up to back into the docks. Cars parked on the street makes getting in/out a little snug, but not terrible.

He was also super sweet and professional during the process which made me feel good about taking my pup there. We got our dog groomed yesterday by Ashley and everything was AWESOME!! Ashley was great with Arya from the start and we are absolutely in love with the cut. Our dog is happy and looks adorable. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Do yourself a favor and go!

They know all the dogs and their personalities. They all go above and beyond. Every time I drop off my dog(s), I can go out of town without worry. We currently only have 1 dog and I can also drop her at doggy day care so she can play in a safe environment with other dogs. Truly the best team! They love what they do, they love and care about the animals and it shows. Also, whatever the groomer/bathers are doing to my dog, I need their secret. She has crazy fur and when I pick her up her fur is so soft and she looks so pretty. Thank you Boulder Falls team!

It's A Dog's World

Over the years, I’ve tried numerous groomers—including veterinary offices that offer sedation—and none of them were able to fully groom my pup. We were even told he couldn’t be safely sedated enough to complete the process.
Then we found It's a Dog's World.
They have successfully groomed him drug-free since day one—something I honestly didn’t think was possible. That alone speaks volumes about their patience, skill, and genuine care for the animals they work with.
We’ve been bringing our dogs here for over 9 years—starting with our teacup Yorkie (who has since passed), our empathetic Australian Shepherd mix, and our very high-anxiety Shih Tzu/Pomeranian mix. Every experience has been consistently positive.
For a training-based establishment where groomers naturally come and go, their ability to maintain such a high level of consistency, compassion, and quality is truly impressive. The service is always reliable, and the care they provide sets a standard that should be admired across the industry.

Dr. Alexis and her assistant came to our home and walked into a room with four heartbroken adults, all in tears. From the moment they arrived, Dr. Alexis's calm, compassionate demeanor and gentle voice helped us through one of the hardest moments of our lives. She explained every step of the process with such kindness and patience.
They both quietly sat on the floor against the wall, giving us all the time we needed to love on our sweet girl and say our goodbyes. When we were ready, they gently stepped in and allowed her to peacefully pass on her own dog bed, surrounded by love and without any pain.
Their compassion, empathy, and respect meant more to us than words can express. We hugged them as they left, and I honestly don't know how they do this work every day. It takes truly extraordinary people to help families through such heartbreaking moments.
I cannot recommend Angel Veterinary highly enough. We will never forget the kindness they showed our family during one of the most difficult days of our lives.

As breeders, we've worked with a number of veterinarians and specialists over the years, and I can honestly say the level of care we received here was exceptional. Every specialist we interacted with went above and beyond. It never felt like we were just another appointment. Everyone was invested in Bumble's case and genuinely wanted the best possible outcome.
What stood out the most was that Dr. Knowles personally took the time after business hours to call me and go over Bumble's case in detail, answering every question and making sure I understood the plan moving forward. They were more interested in her symptoms than the last 3 vets I took my dog to, and offered a new treatment that Noone else had offered, we'll have to wait and see if it helps, everyone was super friendly to me and my dog. And when they took her back for her nails, biopsy and blood draw, I heard all the girls in the back singing a song to my dog while they did their stuff. It was really sweet and refreshing. I tried private training sessions and group sessions (for 4 months) and nothing worked. After one session of engagement classes he is well on his way to be a well trained dog that I can walk without chaos and aggression. I will be returning for another engagement class next month.
Wes spent a lot of individual time with Rowdy and they were so supportive and encouraging. They gave me the confidence I needed to handle Rowdy. And most important, I’m not hearing my friends and family telling me to take Rowdy back to the Humane Society.

My dog Rocky spent most of his life at a rescue. He’s a Pitbull/retriever & was super reactive to cats, dogs, even people every now & then. He was a really big leash puller & is really strong! I contacted Rob’s dogs and had him stay at the Board & Train for a week.
I CANNOT EVEN EXPLAIN THE MIRACLE OF ROBS DOGS TO YOU. Bree and all the other staff worked with Rocky so well. They sent me videos during the week of them working with him. He LOVES the staff and I’m sure he was sad to leave them!!! He is perfect on the leash now & the reactivity to cats/dogs/people is so much different. It’s really really manageable and he is so much more confident in himself after being here for a week.
I would highly recommend Rob’s dogs (Bree & Ian are awesome trainers!) to everyone. Seriously get your dog trained here. For real!

Cathy's Canines Dog Training
2942 E Charleston Ave, PhoenixI can't say enough good things about Cathy! Not only is she the best dog trainer I've ever worked with (and I've had several trainers with various dogs over the years), she's also one of the kindest and most genuine people I know.
Her training methods are kind, consistent, and incredibly effective. My rescue dog was extremely stubborn and difficult to manage, but after just five sessions with Cathy, the transformation has been remarkable. She now sits and stays on command, and while we're still working on leash training, the progress has been nothing short of miraculous. She went from pulling constantly and walking in every direction to calmly walking by my side. We continue to practice every day, and I'm confident that with consistency, I'll be able to take her anywhere.
Cathy's techniques remind me very much of Cesar Millan's approach—but without the exorbitant price tag. Her rates are extremely reasonable, and she is worth every single penny.
What truly sets Cathy apart is how deeply she cares about the dogs and their owners. You can see that she genuinely loves every dog she works with and is personally invested in helping both the dog and the owner succeed. That level of dedication is rare and makes all the difference.

Paws To Train Your Dog
2025 N 40th St, PhoenixTroy helped us understand why Brisket was behaving the way he was and what we could do to get him to a place of less fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. We adopted Brisket when he was 6. He was a good boy from day 1 but clearly had anxiety and was not socialized by his previous owner. As of today we’ve complete the 6-week training course with Troy, and by comparison we’ve noticed a big difference in his anxiety levels, trust in us, and ability to listen to our commands. Troy is a tough but fair teacher. This is the first time we went through a dog training course so we wanted to be corrected when we were doing anything wrong. Troy has no problem doing that, and we were grateful because we learned a lot. We still have a way to go with Brisket, but we feel we have the tools to be successful and for Brisket have a more worry-free life. Thanks Troy!

Every time I drop Winnie off, everyone is so welcoming, and when I check the cameras, I always see the counselors giving the pups so much attention and snuggles. They are so attentive and always keep me informed—one time they even let me know about a small scab they noticed on Winnie that clearly happened outside of camp.
I used to be nervous leaving Winnie anywhere, but Camp Bow Wow gives me complete peace of mind. Most importantly, Winnie absolutely loves it there and always comes home happy (and tired) after the best day. I couldn't recommend them more!

Lovely outdoor patio but vibe was killed by annoying and loud Tuesday Trivia guy. Not sure worthy of 4.9 rating. Id come again if I were close but wouldn't drive out of my way. Both the restaurant and the cat lounge is extremely clean and welcoming. The food is amazing and the service is even better, I've gotten close to the staff and feel immensely appreciated as a customer. Their morals are the best thing of all, the effort and care they pour into the cats is visible and admirable.

Sometimes she gives it to me on the house and as much as I ask to pay for it, she refuses with a smile. It feels like home and she’s your mom and I mean that in the best way. Chicken shawarma on point. Tikka beef is so tender and the pickled red onion goes so well with it. Both the pita and saj bread are soft and delicious. I could go on but go try for yourself! Also, I would add pics but I’m already too far gone into the meal before I remember I should take some. Go now!

Drop off was quick and organized, pick up was the same and was able to receive her medication along with important information about the recovery process. My dog is, of course, uncomfortable but is not in any pain which I was very nervous about and the incision looks good. Overall, I’m extremely happy with getting my dog spayed here!

Almost There: A Mom + Pups Rescue
2611 E Indian School Rd, PhoenixAs a rescuer, I have visited and worked with many rescues across several western states, and this is by far the most clearly organized and prepared. When I brought the first mom and litter there back in the Fall, the intake staff came out and greeted the mom and pups, wore protective suits, gloves, and booties, and the intake process was seamless and professional as well as caring and supportive. Since then, because of how impressed I was, I have reached out to them several times for intakes of abandoned/dumped moms and puppies, and they have always treated them all with lovingkindness. Watching them work with puppies and seeing their protocols, you know moms and puppies are in fantastic hands.

2401 W Behrend Dr #86, PhoenixI recently had to make the incredibly difficult decision to put my beloved dog, Sasha, to sleep. This was my first time going through this heart-wrenching process, and I was incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Gina and her team at Peaceful Passing by my side.
Dr. Gina walked me through every step with such kindness, gentleness, and compassion. She lovingly advocated for Sasha, ensuring her comfort and dignity throughout. The process was handled with such care that I knew Sasha was in the best hands.
Sasha passed away like the true queen she was, resting on her favorite satin pillow, covered in her throw, and cradled in my arms, surrounded by the people who loved her tremendously. It was a peaceful and loving farewell, which I will always be grateful for.
Dr. Gina and her team made an unbearable situation a bit more bearable with their empathy and professionalism. I can't recommend Peaceful Passing highly enough. If you ever find yourself in the heartbreaking position of saying goodbye to a beloved pet, Dr. Gina is who you want by your side.
