(1) it’s an all-in-one location; meaning a one-stop-shop where you can daycare and/or board, there’s a vet next door AND a pet supply all located in one place. They have a huge facility (a BIG surprise from all the visits I’ve recently made to other doggie daycares) AND a pool (see photos) which any lab owner knows is a Major Bonus! Plus perhaps the biggest bonus of all? Bark Avenue is less than 10 minutes from our new home. So all in all, Tammy, Sunny and I couldn’t be happier with our “daughters other new home!”

There was another person who walked in at the same time as my appointment and she made sure that since I had made the appointment I went first. It was very clean and cute inside. The self wash area was wonderful. The large basin with the steps for dogs made it so much easier than trying to wrestle my new pup in the kitchen sink or bath tub at home and the sprayer/ hose was awesome. They had every thing I needed right there to give my puppy a good scrub and provided towels and dryers to dry her off with after. I would and have recommended that other people go there and do the self wash it's much easier than doing it at home.

I'm new to the area and brought my elderly disabled dog with me, and was really hesitant to take her somewhere new. Usually I only get her groomed / trimmed within my vets office as theyre the most experienced handlers of high-risk dogs.
Beanie has a lot of groomer trauma, a back injury and she's disabled. She's easily a mixed bag and I've had places turn us away.
That said, the staff here was amazing. They listened to us and were happy to accommodate us. I was directed on when to come in so Bee could have the best hands on staff, when would be quietest to sneak her in, and so on.
Magnus was her groomer today and they did an amazing job, babied her through the entire appointment, took all my notes and was incredibly gentle and patient with her.
The best review I can give is honestly Beanies, which is that instead of coming home for a crash-out Betrayal nap, she was pretty proud of herself and stomped around demanding treats for good behaviour.
Thats as good as it gets when your thirteen and sassy. ✨💕

We have reactive dogs, and Sergio has been incredibly patient, kind, and supportive throughout the entire process. He never made us feel judged or overwhelmed. Instead, he gave us practical tools and guidance that helped us better understand our dogs and communicate with them more effectively.
We sent our 5-year-old pit mix, Stevie, to Sergio for a 6-week board-and-train program with e-collar training. Stevie was very stubborn and reactive, and we knew she needed some extra help. Sergio worked with her on her commands, obedience, and especially her reactivity.
When Stevie came home, we could see such a difference. She was calmer, seemed to be in a much better headspace, and was better able to listen and respond to us. Just as importantly, Sergio gave *us* the tools and understanding we needed to continue helping her at home. We now have a much better understanding of how to communicate what is appropriate and inappropriate behavior and how to support her when she becomes reactive.
What we appreciate most is how much Sergio genuinely cares about the dogs and the people working with them. His patience, knowledge, and kindness made such a difference for us.
We are incredibly grateful to Sergio and All Dogs Training. If you have a challenging, stubborn, or reactive dog, we highly recommend giving them a call. ❤🐾

14 Waterhouse Ln, ChesterI called and interviewed two other trainers before Belinda and, as much as they tried to sell me on the use of shock collars, in the end I just couldn't do it to either of my dogs. My oldest boy was a rescue who came to us extraordinarily scared and timid. It took me a good 6 mos to get him to trust me, and now he's my little shadow. He remains timid and very shy, and I fear a shock collar would make him revert back to where he was when we got him. My younger dog is also a rescue but he's just a little guy and when I felt the "shock" of the collar even at a very low number I knew I couldn't put one on him. Enter Belinda! Positive and explains dog psyche. Gives advice on adding a new command onto a learned one. She spent some time getting to know my boys and they loved her. I just wish she were in Arizona year round, as I lost several months training time with her due to a knee surgery.

At our initial evaluation, Katy provided several situations to encounter different dogs and gave an effective tool to address the reactivity on my first visit. After a few day care sessions we saw how quickly our shepherd was responding to the training. We ended up signing up for board and train so she could learn all the things! We are so impressed with Katy’s training, in addition to her treating our dog like one of her own. Such an awesome facility and training experience. Highly recommend.

They took my two high energy Boston terriers in with ease. We also were granted webcam access and it was so fun checking in with them via camera and watching them play and interact with the staff. Each staff member was SO patient with our pups. They were also extremely kind with my million and one questions.

I'm more of a whiskey/stout drinker by trade, but the ciders here were incredibly flavorful without being overwhelmingly sweet. I most enjoyed the Bourbon Barrel Apple Pie myself, a fantastic drink with a fantastic story. I had 2 others as well and my wife had two ciders on her own and all were outstanding.
For food we have Myke's pizza. Wood-fired margherita pizza with warm olives and brussels sprouts as appetizers...wow, those warm olives and raisins with the sprouts, amazing.
This was a fantastic experience and I'm literally planning any and all trips to Mesa going forward to include Cider Corps.

All Pets Great & Small Cremation Service
5357 East Main Street, MesaThis was the second hardest day the first being the day loki passed. We were fortunate enough to have him pass at home. I didn’t want him to be alone during the cremation process even though I know he’s gone and it was just his body I promised him I’d be there and it was so hard but they were so unbelievably kind and accommodating, I can’t thank them enough. I didn’t know what to expect, the moment I walked in he explained the entire process, let me take my time , he was so gentle and kind when placing loki inside. It made the second hardest day a bit easier. Thank you, I’ll never forget your kindness.
I received his ashes, fur and clay paw right there. It was beautifully done. He was so special, words can’t express how much we’ll miss him and the impact he made on every person he encountered. He always had a smile on his face regardless of the situation. He will be remembered by everyone and missed deeply.
We will see you PaPa, we will make you proud. You got us through the hardest darkest days, we won’t let you down. There hasn’t been a day we haven’t cried for you we miss you so much. Cathy's Coton Cuties
15124 South Mountain Road, MesaColby is our 2nd Coton de Tulear and our 1st one was not a great experience, trust me on my review! This whole experience with Cathy was seamless and very accommodating!!! I would highly recommend using Cathy for your next Coton. We have only had Colby for about 7 days now and this is the easiest puppy I have ever had that is already potty trained, knew the word No which helps so much for training. He is just a dream and it is all due to a great breeder!

Ghost Town Dog Rescue

Kitty Kat Rescue, Inc.
6932 E Hampton Ave, MesaKitty Cat Rescue is one if the few rescues I refer people for cat adoption. I see some people in the reviews did not agree with Laurie's policy on dog doors and spay/neuter. What a shame those people chose to defame such an amazing woman and her Rescue, because of a difference of opinion, instead of simply finding a rescue with policies that fit with their lifestyle and philosophies. Most ethical rescues have the same policies with good reason. My experience with Laurie has always been a pleasure. Her care and commitment to rescuing cats in need is clearly evident. She will continue to be top of my list for recommendation and donations.

Follow Your Heart Animal Rescue
446 N Higley Rd UNIT 102, MesaDebbie contacted me through a Facebook post I had made and gave us great information regarding 2 puppies that due to a family medical issue, had to be rehomed. She was very thorough and gave us great advice. After a long discussion we decided to go with this rescue and they are truly amazing! Glenda drove all the way to Payson to pick them up for us so we didn't have to drive to Phoenix. The communication has been top notch, and the care everyone we encountered has for animals shows. I love that they go straight into foster families and you can follow them on Facebook. I can't recommend this place enough!

Maricopa County Animal Care and Control
1920 S Lewis, MesaWe've always adopted dogs from Maricopa, county, animal shelters and both facilities are really good. The East Side is all renewed, but lacks good old mature trees, which the West facility does have those trees in the back area where the dogs play, And they have birds there, so it is a more natural environment for the dogs having trees In the areas where they take walks. people who work there are great. My only suggestion is: it would be very, very helpful to reintroduce dog to dog introduction on the facilities. They used to have this service, and then somehow they stopped doing that, probably for lack of funds, or lack of people available to supervise, or maybe they do not want any liability, but it was a very helpful service since we have A Indie and we wanted to adopt the dog, which had no records of being good or bad with other dogs, and she turned out to be no good with other dogs, though, wonderful with people. unfortunately, we had to return the dog ,and chose another one which had a record of good interaction with dogs, not the one that we originally wanted to choose, but that one had a good record already. So we did not want to take any risks and got the dog that already was proven to be good with other dogs, and he is. Taking that into consideration, I would strongly suggest to have that service ,dog to dog introduction, reimplemented in the program. other than that , the program of adopting the pets is very good, in my opinion, With great employees and volunteers , I am very thankful for those people
