“In the process of replacing the pull out spray hose on my Blanco kitchen faucet, I needed to replace the fiber washer seal at the connection under the sink. After stopping at a number of places to locate the needed part, Paul at Standard Plumbing Supply in Peoria, was extremely helpful yesterday working through my problem. They were out of stock on the actual item I needed but he came up with an alternative solution using a thick rubber washer which solved my problem. None of the other 3 or 4 places I had stopped at offered any potential solutions. The part was only a 50 cent item but Paul's dedication to helping me was priceless.”

“I went there the other day because I was having difficulty finding the parts needed to replace or repair the valves in an old condo a couple of miles away. I went to them because I thought that they'd be familiar with the old style valves. I walked in but I had no luck finding out the manufacturer of the valve body that the condo has in it. The amazing person behind the counter came out to offer assistance and I explained the situation to him and he didn't even hesitate to walk back and get something and then returned and said try these seals to solve your problem. I asked him how much do I owe you and he replied nothing it's on me. I have been to several places before going there nobody could help me except for the man at the Van Marke plumbing. I went back to the condo and put the seals in the valves and it fixed the problem. I was so relieved and happy that I finally got it fixed. Thanks to Van Marke plumbing. Wonderful people who work in that store. Great ,helpful for others to get what they need and great customer service skills. I will always go back when I'm needing plumbing parts and in the area. Awesome place and awesome people. I give them 2 thumbs up and would recommend them to anyone who is in need of plumbing parts.”

I was having issues with a painting job, and he not only gave me great advice, but showed me some paints on sale that would work for me. “Picking out paint is a whole world within itself! First the sample paint card, getting a sample of that paint, applying it to your wall only to realize it looks completely different due to several reasons. Process starts all over again, and again, oh did I mention AGAIN!Thank goodness for these 3 INCREDIBLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL,PATIENT people at Dunn Edwards at this location! Dan….. “I don't know what has happened but my last visit to this Home Depot was so positive . Every staff I even just walked by asked if they could help me and I did and they were very helpful . Especially a gentleman in the lighting department just a nice helpful human . The store is always full of products and specials with a ever changing garden section...just a great visit”
“I wanted to highlight and give a shout-out to Tim. I found him in the plumbing aisle. He walked up and asked if I needed help, and I explained my situation to him. He took the time to basically rebuild my plumbing situation on the floor and showed me exactly how and what I needed to do to repair my current problem, complete with what products and how to use them. That was a few weeks ago but I felt this kind of customer service needs recognized.”
