Then we ran into Steven and helped load the concrete to our flatbed. Guys at the register were so polite. We paid and went to our vehicle and ran into Steven, again. He helped us load the concrete in our vehicle and was such a professional and friendly. Definitely one of the best experiences I've had here.”

“Outstanding Service and Truly Proactive Customer Care
I recently purchased two toilets and installation services through Lowe's. One installation was completed successfully, but the second project became complicated when it was discovered that the toilet required a 10-inch rough-in rather than the 12-inch model that had been purchased.
The plumbing contractor removed the incorrect toilet and returned it to Lowe's, which resulted in a refund for the toilet itself. However, there was understandable confusion regarding the installation charge that was no longer needed.
Here's what impressed me: before I even had to follow up, a Lowe's associate contacted me.
She reviewed the entire order history, clarified what had happened, confirmed that the installation refund was being addressed, and made sure there was no confusion regarding my replacement purchase and upcoming installation.
As someone with a busy schedule, this level of proactive customer service was priceless. Most companies wait for customers to call back repeatedly. Lowe's did the opposite. They reached out first, took ownership of the situation, and ensured everything was handled correctly.
I especially want to recognize the associate who called me. She was knowledgeable, professional, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a positive experience. If Lowe's can identify her based on my order history, she deserves recognition for an outstanding job.
More importantly, I want to recognize Lowe's as an organization for empowering employees to provide this type of service. Large home improvement projects can involve multiple vendors, contractors, deliveries, returns, and refunds. The fact that Lowe's took the initiative to contact me and verify all the details demonstrates a level of accountability that is becoming increasingly rare.
If I were shopping for a home improvement retailer and came across a review like this, it would absolutely influence my decision. Products can be purchased anywhere. What earns customer loyalty is knowing that when something becomes complicated, a company will step up, take ownership, and make it right.
Lowe's earned my trust through this experience, and I greatly appreciate both the employee who helped me and the organization's commitment to customer care.”
