“I love the care I receive at Mayo. Everyone is kind and caring. I have a medical background so I know how things are supposed to work. They have a professional group of people providing excellent care always mindful of what YOU are going through. I wont go anywhere else I am older and I feel safe and secure there. My appts are ALWAYS on time. I was an inpatient also and I had an amazing staff and that included the staff that cleaned my room. Thank you for the care I received during a vulnerable time. I waited many months to get a primary care physician with Mayo. It was worth it. Ive been to Abrazo they have terrible care there, I mean really bad!
Ive been to Banner, Honor health, St Joe's, even worked in these places and trust me Mayo has the best system. Ive been misdiagnosed, had surgeries repeated to fix the first one, over treated, overcharged, maligned,. I know its hard to navigate healthcare. Its not their fault if your insurance doesn't cover them or the procedure. You have to be an active participant. In healthcare time is money. They ARE a research hospital, they DO TRAIN Healthcare professionals. That's what its about. There ARE NOT ENOUGH DOCTORS, primary care. Specialists. They are doing their part. So dont fault the entire system for that. Compared to the outside medical community? Their care is excellent! I can get labs drawn on a Sunday morning and have results before I get back home. I can see my results , all of them. I can get answers from my care team the same day. I am reminded of appointments I need to make. My doctors TALK TO ONE ANOTHER. All of my medical records are in one place. I see all my doctors notes. Be prepared when you go to visits. Doctors/nurses arent mind readers, they are focused on THEIR jobs. And thats what you get when you go to Mayo. You are part of their family. Im 75 now and feeling secure is VERY important. I was terrified before I started at mayo on 2019. I knew community docs were gonna kill me. I was super sick within months the Mayo docs had me dialed in. I had an autoimmune liver disorder not curable, I have diabetes type 2, cardiac issues . But I'm dialed in now. My cholesrerol/lipids are normal, weight on track, liver is in check. I still have issues but one by one they help me get them to a livable state. So complain all you want but be an active participant in your care. They cant do everything for you.”

“The staff is pleasant, efficient and welcoming. The imaging technician was thorough, experienced and considerate completing my tests in a third of the time the appt called for. He explained everything he was doing as he did it, asked if I had questions and made sure I was comfortable. As these tests were for a recent cancer scare, I was very anxious going into appt and came out believing I was very well taken care of.”

“I brought my daughter in for bloodwork today, and we were seen within five minutes of arriving. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful, and our phlebotomist, Saylor, was amazing. She made my daughter feel comfortable and kept her calm throughout the blood draw. By the time we left, my daughter was saying she wanted to be friends with Saylor. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this office.”

“I usually don't review medical facilities or pharmacies. This whole place is awesome. The physicians have all been wonderful, and the pharmacy has been amazing. Other places have made me feel like a criminal when I get a medicine, or need it early. Min ( I believe her name is ) and her pharmacy staff are wonderful. While the hours can be a challenge, I was running extremely late tonight,and needed my diabetes medication. They not only answered after 5, but made arrangements for me to get what I needed, and have me pay on Monday after they open back up. A++++5 plus stars ? ? ?”

My veins are hard to find, but the phlebotomist found one on the first try. I didn't feel a thing. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name. She was awesome!”
