“I can't say enough good things about the experience and the staff here. My family of four went there for my oldest son's birthday. My youngest child suffers from auditory anxieties. The staff were super accommodating and even warned us before anything triggering was going about to happen. They came in and escorted him to a quiet room until it was time for him to rejoin the adventure. The experience itself was very well designed and elaborate sets. This is probably the best escape room experiences I have partaken in. I would definitely recommend.”

“My family and I visited the Climbmax Gym on June 14 2026 to celebrate my daughter's 23rd birthday. I have to say the Climbing Gym is amazing and has challenges for everyone's climbing abilities. We traveled from California and didn't plan on climbing so we had to rent climbing shoes and harnesses for the exception of the birthday girl that doesn't leave her house without climbing gear. The facility was clean, bathrooms too and the owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really like the fact that this gym is not a big corporate multi climbing gym company and more of a Mom and Pop operation. I highly recommend to anyone beginner to expert climber to visit Climbmax climbing Gym when you are in the Phoenix area. Thanks again Climbmax. We will be back soon”

“Excellent place to spend time with family or friends. The service is very good, and the food and liquor are delicious. As a suggestion, I might say they should lower the price of the prizes in the arcade area; they're too expensive for a child to win a prize.”

“The Kiwanis recreation center is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. My grandson was taking tennis lessons, and the courts and staff for the tennis center are awesome. Parking can be a chore depending on the time of day when you’re there.”

“I've been to Bricks & Minifigs Tempe and had a wonderful experience. Maria is incredibly knowledgeable about LEGO and genuinely passionate about helping customers — whether you're a seasoned collector or just getting started. The store is clean, well-organized, and has a great selection of both new and used sets and minifigs.

What stands out most is the level of service. Maria takes the time to answer questions, help you find what you're looking for, and make every visit feel welcoming and personal. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and the collecting community. Every time I'm in the area visiting family, this is one of my new must-stop spots.

We're actually looking forward to hosting our next family get-together in their event space — nothing like a friendly LEGO building competition to bring out everyone's competitive side! This is exactly the kind of locally owned shop that deserves support, and I'll keep coming back.”

“Played here in 2010 when it was a run down muni course. Went last night and wow what a difference. Tons of fun. Very easy to see. Pace of play is great, staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change is the music. They play music by the club house and it sets the mood. They should have speakers throughout the whole course.”

“It's a really nice hotel.Located close by ASU.The airport is close by so you will hear and see planes all the time. But that was no biggie. You have the river walk about 3 minutes away.”

“Enjoyed attending a formal event at this venue. The building was beautiful, providing a unique view from the balcony. Bathrooms are located through an outdoor exit which isn't most convenient.”

“The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable. The decor is very cute. They carry the theme throughout - I lived the attention to detail. The restaurant onsite carried the theme and the foid was good. Had a great peppermint cappuccino.”

“Excellent stay! Super clean! Looked brand new. Slept so good! We arrived on superbowl Sunday and caught the score in the lobby. Almost felt like home away from home. Very nice employees. Very cute area in downtown Tempe and not far. Would easily stay here again. Even had oat milk as an option at breakfast along with 4 different egg choices”

“The Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes offers a unique, scenic getaway built into a hillside with panoramic desert views, featuring a top-tier pool area with cliff-side hot tubs, a 24-hour fitness center, and the acclaimed Top of the Rock restaurant. It is a versatile choice for both leisure and business, known for, polite staff and a dramatic atmosphere, though some guests mention paid parking and extra fees.”

“I stayed here twice in the last week when flying in and out of Phoenix. The hotel is clean, staff was friendly, and everything worked as it should. Water pressure in the shower isn't the best but is also pretty typical for any hotel these days. Workout room is nice and all the machines work. Very convenient location if you are staying the night after a late arriving flight or staying the night before an early flight out the next morning.”

“Second time staying at this location and both times were for work meetings. The staff here are some of the friendliest I have ever encountered (and I travel a lot)! Shout out to the GM Dominick for making myself and group feel accommodated and heard. This location is locked in as my PHX hotel as choice! Give it a try.”

“I suggest using the Marriott Bonvoy app like I've been for the past year, I get a better rate booking direct through the app than I get using booking.com. Customer service is always amazing as well. Very accommodating.”

“I first did private karaoke rooms in Japan and fell in love with the idea. I was excited to find that Tempe had its own and recently went. First, the room was very neat. They all have themes which are pretty cool. There’s also a server button so you can call her over if you need help.

The only con I have is that the software they use is a little rough. Searching for artists is really bizarre. We got the hang of it but it was strange. You basically type an acronym for what you’re looking for. Ricky Martin is RM Britney Spears is BS. Etc. it took as a bit to grasp. At first I thought they had like 5 English songs before this was explained to us.

Overall, I do recommend the experience. It’s a fun way to spend time with friends without singing for fifty strangers. I hope they improve their software and I hope this concept expands in Phoenix and the rest of the US. I enjoy it far more than the current karaoke bar concept we have in the US.”

“Great area, first time being at a Marriott that doesn't have a laundry room like what?? the rooms were alright. Shy at the front desk was very efficient & accommodating , I enjoyed our pleasant conversations
. If you need a good drink Shy is your go to.”

“Finally a hotel with good pillows and real kleenex instead of sandpaper. I haven't been able to say that in years. Easy to get to. Great kitchenette, stocked well plus extra equipment options available. Exercise room had everything I needed. Only minor defect was a little water damage near the bathroom. Only complaint could be the loud talking neighbor, but that's not the hotel's fault. I picked this hotel because it was one of the only reasonably priced options in the Phoenix area; but it didn't feel like a cheap place.”

“This hotel has been our go to lately when we visit Phoenix. Clean rooms, comfy bed, and AC is cool! Roberta (RoRo) who checked us in recently was super nice! Recommend 10/10!”
