“I usually stay at the one located near Phoenix airport, but, I had an appointment to have my car fixed the day after I came back from France, so I made the reservation in this location. This hotel company never disappoints, and dinners everyday are on the house. It's exactly what I wanted. The pool is wonderful, and so is the hot tub. The breakfast is well, is much better than what you would get in a normal traveling Hotel”

“I stayed here for a week and was blown away by how nice it was compared to some of the other hotels in the area (even compared to several of the more expensive options downtown). The room was comfortable and actually dark at night, and there was no annoying refrigerator buzz like I've had at several other hotels. The bathroom shower had its own door that actually kept the water in the shower (you'd think this would be the default everywhere, but it really is worth mentioning) and the bathroom itself has its own real door. Not some cutesy sliding barn door nonsense, but a real door with a latch and a lock. The electrical outlet in the desk lamp was a bit loose, but I let the front desk know and they had somebody from maintenance come and replace the lamp the same day. I think my only complaint is that my other activities kept me from getting back to the hotel before midnight every night and so I never got to try any of the food or the complimentary evening drinks because room service and the restaurant have the same hours and end at 10 PM, but there was a small area behind the front desk where I could buy food 24x7 so I never went hungry. I'm definitely going to stay here again when I'm less busy so that I get a chance to try out some of the other amenities.”

“The dinner service was grand. To watch the video as you were eating and watching them make our dinner was one of the highlights. They kept are meal flowing and give us a good amount of time between each course. The meal was great but a little expensive, but was well worth it after seeing everything that the chefs did. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a once in a lifetime meal.”

“My family and I stayed at this Hampton Inn on 10-11 Sep 2026 to attend a funeral. I chose this hotel over other Hilton properties in the area because it had the most reasonable price and it was within adequate distance to the National Memorial Cemetery. Prior to arriving, I received a notification of a free room upgrade (I received a 1 King Bed Study with Sofabed Nonsmoking) - I believe it was due to my Hilton Honors (Gold) level...or perhaps they were just feeling generous that day. Regardless, I appreciated the gesture and it was obviously accepted without complaints. The check-in process was flawless; I conducted the online check-in. I received the digital room key earlier in the day so as soon as we arrived, we went straight to the room. The elevator, although large, was less than desirable with respect to speed, quality, and availability - it moved very slowly and it felt like the elevator was trying to move when the doors were still open. Not to mention, there was only one elevator running. The room and bathroom were nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable but I can't say the same about the pillows - I've never been a fan of Hilton's pillows. The air conditioner didn't work as well as I would have hoped for; it didn't create that walk-in freezer like some of the other hotels I've experienced...which made it challenging to fall asleep for me. The water pressure was adequate for both the sink and shower. The shower head had three different settings and the water actually got really hot (around 11 pm), which was nice. Not sure how the water temperature would be in the morning which seems to be the high volume use of hot water. But since I am an evening shower person, I was in heaven with all that hot water. Additionally, the bathroom had a fan which is always a plus for me! The only drawback to the bathroom was the bathroom door; it was difficult to open and close...it seemed like the door wasn't properly aligned within the doorframe. And finally, the view from the room was ok - definitely nothing spectacular...but I chose to face the back of the hotel in hopes for a quiet stay. The free breakfast was great - there were a significant amount of items to choose from. Also, the employee working on the morning of 11 Sep 2026 kept everything clean and stocked - I didn't catch his name but kudos to him for speed and efficiency. I didn't utilize the pool or hot tub, but I did manage to walk around the area. Needless to say, I wished I'd stayed longer and had my swim shorts with me because it was a nice-sized pool with ample room on the pool deck. Overall, I loved my experience on this property as depicted in my 5-star rating. It definitely wasn't a complete flawless experience but these days, what hotels are actually 100% perfect? Hampton Inn delivered and catered to my/our needs which to be honest was surprising because Hampton Inn properties have always been a hit or miss in the past for my family, at different locations. Regardless, for this visit, I was satisfied. I highly recommend this property to everyone!”

“Place is nice. Been inside more than a few times. Today this lady with an Oliver tree haircut gave me attitude and told me I had to leave. All I was going to do is ask a question as I’ve done many times before. Kicked me and my daughter out and had a smirk while doing it. My 5 stars are for every other employee I have interacted with that was nice to me and mines. Mrs. Tree deserves a 1 star but I won’t be doing that to the Westin.”

“This place is a hidden gem at a great rate! Small cozy hotel with MidCentury Modern theme throughout and an attentive, friendly staff. From the popsicle store front check-in to the play pool with tropical greenery to the many spaces for groups, couples or solo getaway. The rooms are clean and spacious rooms and the 60s inspired rooftop bar is magical. Easy to work, unwind or play! Cartel Coffee, Bookmans, restaurants and city lightrail all in walking distance.”

“The front desk staff was exceptional! I apologize for not remembering their name, but they were incredibly welcoming. We had issues with our flights and missed a night of our stay, and as soon as we arrived at the hotel, they made our trip so much better. They were kind, understanding, and checked us in quickly so we could rest right away. Breakfast was great, and while this isn’t a five-star hotel, it met our expectations. The room was clean and we had no issues at all. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!”

She is quite the asset and a lovely draw to your hotel, bubble wrap her and have her teach classes. All of our Shuttle drivers were great, especially Eric! He made sure that I had allll the detail about the hotel and area. Such a gent!”

“Nice property and rooms. More kids than we were expecting in the middle of September. I checked in first and added my partner's name, who was coming the following day. When he checked in, the female front desk agent couldn't find his name attached to my reservation, but still gave him a key to the room. That doesn't seem secure to me. That was my only issue, otherwise the property is great and in a great location as well.”

“I flew in late at night and flew out early the next morning so I didn’t spend much time here but it’s good to know the shuttle stops at 11 PM and the other Holiday Inn express airport hotel a few miles away has a shuttle that runs all night so it’s good to know if you’re flying in at 11 pm or later, I suggest to stay at the other location. This one was great for a quick nights sleep!”

“Stayed here when my a/c went out and tried them on a whim. Was going to stay only one night but the experience had us return for a second night when we found out our ac wouldnt be fixed for another night. Upon arrival Ms. Elizabeth was soo friendly and let us know everything about the hotel so we can maximize our stay. She listened to the needs we had and was very funny. The rooms were very clean and accommodating. Thank you everyone here at Sonesta for being there in our time of need and will definitely refer this location to others (and will probably return again for a stay cation). 🙏🙏”

“Love the place, not fancy but a very convenient location to all the stores and the highway. Got a king bedroom with sofa bed for 10 days here and love the room so far, very spacious. The morning buffet is simple but really nice to have, usually serving biscuits and gravy, omelets, sausage, bacon, pancakes (if the machine isn’t broken). The house keeping works hard keeping this place clean and the breakfast stocked too, so….much love to those ladies and gentlemen. My only complaint is I wish they made the coffee stronger, sold energy drinks at the front desk, and provided a couple of laundry pods with the rooms. Also talked with Brandon at the front desk, he’s cool, super helpful guy.”

“Stayed for 2 nights and everything was great. Room was cool, shower was hot, and bed was decent. Bed firmness: On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being soft and 10 being firm, I'd say the bed was a 5. I prefer firmer but it wasnt horrible. Pillows are puffy so bring a pillow if you don't like that. I was on the top floor and the room stayed cool. The AC is a wall unit so I slept on the bed next to it, but the other side of the room wasnt hot despite the Phoenix heat. My specific room has 2 queen beds, 2 TVs, a couch, a desk, a kitchen sink, closet, a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, bathroom sink, bathtub and shower. Staff was very friendly and greeted me every time I was in the lobby. Breakfast was also good. Had quite a variety. I was happy they had a shuttle though I rarely used it cause I just walked. It's about a 12 to 15 minute walk to the downtown area, so not bad but with the heat I would be cautious. I did use the on-site gym. It's pretty solid. Has a dumbbell rack up to 45lbs, an adjustable bench, a cable machine with handle attachments & a rope attachment, plus pull-up bars, cardio equipment (ellipticals & treadmills), a water station, towels, and cleansing wipes. I would stay here again if I was in Phoenix.”
