“What’s a review without a detailed experience?At first I had a very bad experience with DF. I applied for my car loan online, the vin was clean and my application was approved. I went inside the bank to bring the documents, I talked to Danielle D. over the phone and everything was good/approved. The next day I brought in my documents and mind you that this bank is inside of a Frys grocery store, very close to the self checkout. It was a busy Friday afternoon, and while I was standing at the front desk, Danielle announced infront of everyone that my application was denied bc the car was stolen.. and told me to go to the police. Immediately I was panicked and very embarrassed bc I thought I bought a stolen car ?? Danielle’s voice was loud and condescending, all of the other employees and shoppers standing nearby were staring at me.So I ran out of the store and immediately called the PD. They came out and ran my vin, the car had been stolen 4 years prior but was recovered and cleared. It was a whirlwind. I went back to the bank the next day and they reapproved my loan. It was a nightmare and also so embarrassing.I decided to stay with DF bc the loan rate was excellent and I didn’t want another bank hitting my credit again. One application dropped my credit score almost 50 points. Anyway, since banking with DF for the last year, they have been really great. If I go to the bank, I make sure to avoid that employee. I feel that she was very unprofessional and could’ve handled the matter privately.My bad opinion of them has changed. They have annual membership awards and their loan rates are excellent. Their app is secure and easy to use. The only downfall of this bank is there’s only one branch in my area and I have to go inside of Frys to make a withdrawal or cash deposit. They also aren’t set up with Zelle. I would still recommend this bank to my friends and family.”

“The best bank ever! The 3 branches in Prescott and Prescott Valley are amazing. Their employees treat you like you are family. I have a few accounts with them and any time I have questions regarding anything they always have answers right away. If we have any issues they are resolved quickly. They care about you as a individual person not a number. I have had accounts at ALL the large banks ( not any more) and Foothills Bank will and is my favorite . It has become the place were I trust because honesty still exists at Foothills. “I’m unemployed at the moment and have not deposited any money into my account for over a month. I moved all my auto pays out as far as I could but missed one. My account over drafted on Friday so I made three separate deposits this weekend to get my account back into the positive. All of the sudden Tuesday at Midnight they hit me with a $35 over draft fee putting me desperately in jeopardy of going negative. Darla at my local branch was able to help me get the fees reversed and I’m so thankful to her and the branch for giving me that small town feel!”

“I joined Desert Financial Credit Union today. I walked in to the branch inside Fry's without an appointment. Unfortunately, Koreena had an appointment already scheduled so I had to return about 40 minutes later to join. Koreena treated me like a "member" rather than a "customer". She was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She handled my requests perfectly. On the same day, just before I went to Desert Financial CU, I joined Credit Union West. The difference is like night and day! (See my Credit Union West review). When the CD at Credit Union West matures, I'll probably move that money to Desert Financial CU...Desert Financial CU is just a more professional and enjoyable experience. Thanks Koreena!”

I've never seen a line here, and the staff have been courteous, friendly, and helpful.I have read the reviews and am disturbed at the responses by BoA. They ask the reviewer to contact them on Twitter or Facebook. Really? They want to resolve the customers banking problems on social media? I hope their customer service can do better than that, as I don't even use Twitter, and certainly won't discuss any banking issues on Fcebook.”
