“We were in Scottsdale for a few days and needed a rental car in a pinch. Mike provided us a Jeep on very short notice and was extremely accommodating, even giving us a ride to PHX after the rental for our return home. Mike’s the best and a great guy!”

“Had an issue with our car while traveling to Phoenix and brought the car to Marshall’s first thing in the morning. They were very helpful and immediately got the car on the rack. Just a few hours later, the work was completed and we were on our way and the price was extremely reasonable! So pleased that we lucked into this place, we were worried it would ruin the trip but it ended up being such a minor bump in the road”

I was informed ahead of time exactly why and how long it would take and car was ready on the new date. “I chose this location for visiting family rather than dealing with the rental chaos at Sky Harbor. It's close to Scottsdale Airport, too. I reserved the manager's special, which can be a crapshoot, but got a nice Dodge Challenger. The staff were very nice and prompt. I was in and out within a few minutes for pick up and drop off. Stress free car rental, the way it should be.”

“Josh Nassif at the Avis in the Double Tree Hotel was so helpful. We picked up a van from the Phoenix Airport and it had engine issues, we called all around town and could not find a van. Josh called me back 30 minutes later and said a van just came in (I didn’t ask him to call back if a van became available). We were easily able to bring in the van with the issues and swap it out for a new one! This was amazing as it totally turned our trip around!”

“I booked my rental and was quoted $450. When I returned it, they charged me $1385. I attempted to contact many times and they would only refund $300.EDIT: After many calls to Avis customer service (Israel and Richie) with no justification on why I was billed 300% more than what I reserved the car at, the Avis Social Team did a full investigation on my case and they were able to make me whole. The whole ordeal took nearly 3 months to resolve and Avis phone support was very accusatory and condescending, but the social support team have been very empathetic and understanding. Thanks Avis Social Team (Blake and Haley)!”

“Very good value for money. However, prepaid for a gps/sat nav when booking online. When we arrived at pick up, they had none available. Advised they could not give us a refund at the office. Due to the fact we were in USA it took ages to contact customer services. Customer services told me that they do not generally refund for added extras, but were happy to do so on this occasion. They advised not to add extras online even though offers were made available to do exactly that !!”

“Excellent experience. I recently rented an Escalade for 12 days from them. They delivered it directly to my hotel (the Fairmont who referred me to them). They delivered my vehicle timely and professionally. Upon leaving the hotel I just left the car with the valet for them to pick up the next day. Much more convenient than airport car rental hub, and saves a lot of time. The car was in great condition and nice and clean. I will be using only this company from now on when I visit scottsdale”

“The rental process itself was not that bad. I booked a Mazda 3, but the car that I was provided was a Kia Forte (which actually was a good car, loved it).The employee there told me that since on the app it says "Mazda 3 or equivalent" there might be a chance that this can happen.EDIT: also the employees there were GREAT. they let me use their charger which saved my skin since I had 5% phone battery. It was pouring outside and I didn't wanna be stranded there that day without a phone.Since I had a long drive ahead, I also took the collision and liability insurance. Acceptable prices, Didn't want to worry about accidents or dents.the travel was smooth, no issues with car. the card return process was smooth, I took pictures of the mileage, the fuel, the car itself, and dropped off the key in the drop box since it was after-hours.The only - that I experienced was with the payment process. Which is not something that is related to the physical rental place, but a problem with Hertz itself.I was being double charged for the rental company, I called the customer support of Hertz to figure out the problem, the customer support did not have sufficient knowledge of the issue, thought that the double charge was correct and that "it's actually the correct price of the car", she eventually was unable to help me. I got so frustrated that I had to call my bank and figure out the issue on that end instead of Hertz.So, smooth experience, just beware of how much they charge you. ALWAYS save your receipt and pay attention to the costs. you'll never know if you're gonna need it later complications.”
