“I have never experienced a more gracious, accommodating business interaction. I was warmly greeted on entering the store a month ago. Back in my home state but remembering a cowhide stool I saw amidst beautiful rugs, I reached out by phone-- and was offered free delivery of the stool for a birthday gift, after first sending pictures and measurements and helping affirm my decision -- all very pleasantly and without pressure. “I have been a Lamps Plus customer on and off for many years.Earlier this year, we built a new home and needed a significant amount of lighting. I called the store and spoke with Amanda, who helped me right from the start. She provided the contractor letter that needed to be signed so we could receive the appropriate discount, which was extremely helpful and appreciated.
Over the next couple of months, Amanda worked closely with me as we selected lighting based on my preferences. I called her several times for input, and she was always patient, thoughtful, and responsive. She also kept me informed about upcoming sales on items I was interested in, which made a real difference.
Because this was a new build, timing was challenging. Some fixtures were ordered before our electrician could begin work, and once installation started, we realized a few of the items simply were not going to work. I called Amanda to ask about returning them, and she immediately said it would not be a problem.
I had planned to come to the store myself last week, but unfortunately, I had a bad fall. I called Amanda to explain and asked if my husband could come instead on Saturday. Since we live in Prescott, timing mattered, and she assured me it was no issue and that they would be there to help.
When my husband Scott arrived, he asked for Amanda, and the staff immediately recognized him by name and asked how I was doing then sent him over to Amanda.
He said Amanda was incredible—kind, attentive, and made the entire process seamless. Everything was handled efficiently and with genuine care.I understand that good customer service is part of retail, but the level of thoughtfulness, follow-through, and willingness to work with us throughout this process truly stood out. That does not always happen, and it meant a great deal to us.
Please know that Amanda and your entire staff were wonderful to work with, and we will absolutely continue to shop at Lamps Plus—both for your product selection and for how well we were treated.

“I have been shopping at these stores (I've visited the Sedona, Flagstaff, and Scottsdale locations) for the past 4 years and have a very large collection of their items. I find the quality of these items across all stores to be amazing as long as you know how to take care of them correctly (ie. Delicate cycle, line dry). None of my items have shrunk, faded, or torn.The photos show only a small amount of items I own and my most recent purchase. Yes they are pricey but they are good quality and have held up over multiple washes. If you love light, flowey, and boho style this is definitely the store for you. Every piece of clothing is a little different on material thickness. I have some pants that are very thin but with the pattern on them nothing is noticeable and I have some pants that are very thick. They also recycle their own material. So anything not sold they will cut up and remake into a new piece of clothing (ie. Pants into a shirt). Love every location I have been too and every sale rep has been very kind and helpful.”

I met Christin Ortiz whom gave me a story of how they got into business and the connections of various artist from the western plains from photography, paintings and sculptures as well as buffalo leather furniture. I decided on a photography piece by Robert Dawson. It is a numbered limited piece in a gorgeous textured frame with a complete certificate of authenticity. It is a striking and gorgeous piece that compliments my space beautifully.The owner is fantastic. He personally comes to your home and installs your purchased piece to best catch the character or space of the room.”

“I personally haven’t been able to go to Mexican Imports ever since I moved to Arizona in August of 2024 where I so happened to meet Aunty Jayne and Uncle Frances one day at a Costco run. I remember that Aunty Jayne asked my brother if he could carry a case of water bottles for her into their cart and he so gladly did so. Me and the rest of my family ended up having a conversation with them and exchanged numbers just in case I needed anything. I was so glad to meet these two amazing people and I have yet to still visit their business due to the distance. Only my family were able to do that when taking a road trip to sedona and grand canyon while I was too busy starting my student-athlete journey. I am here writing a review because my family had an amazing experience buying souvenirs and meeting new people. I am definitely taking it upon myself to visit Mexican Imports as one of my goals!!”

“What a fun place to enjoy the day and celebrating birthdays. The staff were so friendly the assistant who helped us step-by-step on how to make our candle. We got to choose the scent we wanted and The wax is soy based so it’s pet friendly. It’s an hour long class and we literally took our time and enjoyed every minute of making a candle. A beautiful memory for our friends celebration.”
